L.G. Estrella is the author of the The Unconventional Heroes series and the Last Huntress series. They are also the author of the Divine Assistance series and the Attempted Vampirism series.

Estrella has a big interest in psychology, physics, history, and economics, but has always been passionate about writing. In addition to their work as an author, Estrella has worked in education in their career as a lecturer. They make their home in Australia.

The author has said that they believe that writing is a wonderful thing. It is not easy to be a good writer and there are certain techniques which can help to develop it, and Estrella believes that those should be shared with as many people as possible. Because of the author’s belief in this, they are always open to hearing from people who have read her work. They are open to contact from their readers via email or in comments on their blog.

In their own reading life, Estrella enjoys reading horror, fantasy, science fiction, Westerns, and thrillers. L.G. has said that they believe every genre has good points and they like to turn from them in order to incorporate those strengths into their own writing.

Attempted Vampirism is the first book in the series of the same name. Jonathan is a vampire noble with his title being the 32nd Lord of Bloodhaven. However, he is a noble in name only though as he has no wealth or vast array of estates. He only has a broken down castle and his own reputation as a scholar in ancient lore. He prefers the quiet life as the pursuit of fame and fortune is what cost his father and grandfather their lives. He’s about to get into his own set of trouble though as he goes against vampire tax collectors. The Blood Alliance Department of Taxation takes nearly everything he has and now he’s forced out of his quiet life to get it all back. Jonathan teams up with his faithful butler, Miles, to make things right.

Estrella is also the author of Monster Whisperer. Patrick Richards is a monster researcher in a world where dragons, hydras, and basilisks are all real. Vulcan saw the largest and mightiest dragon when he was younger and decided that he wanted to become a monster researcher. The only thing is that funding in the monster research field isn’t great. On top of that, it’s an extremely dangerous job. Patrick’s luck changes when the owner of a powerful media company comes to him when an offer he can’t turn down. The deal involves a a television show that will get up close and personal with the most popular monsters. Patrick and a team will try to pull it off and avoid becoming just another statistic. A job done right will need a monster whisperer.

Two Necromancers, a Bureaucrat, and an Elf is the first book in the Unconventional Heroes series. Timmy has been a necromancer throughout his life who lives in a castle that is built on top of lightless chasms filled with horrors and beings of a malevolent and megalomaniacal nature. One of his creations is a zombie hydra-dragon-bear and it attempts to kill him, leading him to decide that it might be time to try a less dangerous career. It’s easier said than done to switch careers for a wanted criminal with no shortage of enemies. A new law is put into place that could lead to him earning a pardon for all he’s done. To earn it, Timmy will need to take down some dangerous enemies and put together a group to do it. The recruits want nothing to do with him, but he’ll get some help with an obnoxious ten-year-old apprentice and a bumbling bureaucrat.

Divine Assistance is the first book in the Divine Assistance series, it is a collection of fourteen short stories. The Supreme Mother and Supreme Father separated Creation from the Void and created gods to rule over Creation with wisdom and knowledge. That was the idea at least. Death is the god of terrible majesty and splendour, but he’s not sure what to do when his daughter asks for a pony. With his skills that type of thing isn’t going to work, but he wants to get his daughter a pony something better than that. There is also Bureaucracy who is the one who is meant to keep everything running smoothly. That’s not an easy job with so many to consider. In addition to those gods, there is also Mayhem, Mischief, and Rabble whose names speak for themselves. The three of them take a holiday in the mortal world which should lead to plenty of trouble.

The Galactic Peace Committee is the first book in the Galactic Peace series. The book focuses on a universe where humanity is in charge of the Galactic Peace Committee. The Committee is meant to be an unmatched force for good that brings peace and prosperity to countless worlds, but things don’t always quite go like that. Jake Smith works for the Committee and his story doesn’t go very well. He’ll go against petty aliens, angry aliens, and a fleet of aliens out for blood. It can be tricky to keep the peace.

The Trouble With Werewolves is the first book in the Department series. The Australian Department of Unusual Events is who you call when you need to deal with werewolves. They aren’t pleasant to deal with as the average werewolf is seven feet tall and weighs two hundred and fifty kilograms. They will rip your face off if you’re not careful. To beat one, you can’t fight fair. Things can go wrong pretty easily and this story is about one time when things went wrong. As always, the Australian Department of Unusual Events had to learn how to deal with it. That’s the only way agents can survive in this job.
