L. J. Andrews lives for fantasy books as an author and a reader. She adores books like “The Night Angel” trilogy, “The Great Library” series, “An Ember in the Ashes”, and “Harry Potter”, she could go on and on.

She goes by a pen name because it’s a little fun having an alternate identity. And the name was formed by people that are dear to her heart. She has been writing ever since she was able to spell, and thankfully all this time later her writing has improved.

She has a formal degree in Occupational Therapy, and has loved her time serving those that are in the geriatric population. Her real love is literature and writing, though, and she figured it was about time to work on fulfilling this dream.

L. J. loves to write in the morning before anybody’s awake, what with running a business, and eating way too much chocolate.

Her first novel, “Rise of a Guardian”, took her a solid 3 ½ years to write and at least another year to revise, edit, and beta read. But after that first book, she believes she has figured out her groove and her best system so she is pleased to say that the stories started flowing a little quicker, and just a little cleaner.

“Rise of a Guardian” is the first novel in the “Lost Relics” series and was released in 2016. Killian Thomas, who was abandoned by his family when he was a young child, has suddenly gotten one chance to find some answers to his past in a bizarre realm. This mysterious community, which is bound to protect the realms, promises to aid him on his quest if he helps in this desperate search for the lost relics of the realms. Each of these magical relics is bestowed with the mysteries of every realm, giving their owner unimaginable power.

Odd abilities quickly begin manifesting inside of Killian, which catch the lethal attention of this dangerous secret society also looking for these relics, however just to destroy his home realm, which they view to be an abomination. Killian has to find the relics before the countless innocent lives or the society will be lost. He quickly learns sometimes that the closest of allies are actually the most devious of enemies.

“Pirate’s Vengeance” is the first novel in the “Djinn Kingdom” series and was released in 2017. Plunder, pillage, and survive.

Launi Kingdom is built on these floating islands, and filled with wonderful adventures for Nova, age eighteen. However when her dad’s kidnapped by sky pirates, her carefree days have ended. However before she’s able to reach Captain Phoenix her ship gets attacked by pirates, and Nova’s forced to join the crew or she’ll die. Now she has to survive the riotous crew for her dad’s sake. Soon she discovers that there is something more to this jeweled dagger, as well as herself. Something rather dangerous.

Nova has to unravel her family secrets before the dark power can overtake her, or her dad is going to be lost forever and she will become exactly what she fears the most. A pirate.

“Ward of Wyvern” is the first novel in the “Dragon Mage” series and was released in 2018. A fire breathing queen, a trouble making mage, and a love which will bring their world down to its knees.
