L.V. Lane
L. V. Lane loves a happily ever after, although the journey getting there can sometimes be rough on her poor characters. She is an unashamed fan of the alpha, the antihero, and the throwback in all of his guises and wherever he might lurk.

Somewhere out in the wilds of Queensland, at a desk that has views over a semi-tropical landscape, she sits crafting stories. When she’s not getting interrupted by the wails of her cat because his food bowl is inadequately filled or her husband’s off-key singing.

She mainly writes fantasy and science fiction romance, science fiction action, and Omegaverse.

“Taking Control” is the first novel in “The Controllers” series and was released in the year 2019. There is a war, and people with these skills get deployed where and when it suits the cause. Even Omegas. Where necessary, they’re allocated some protection. A controller.

And they are told to submit fully to the controller. That it’s recommended. However the war brings with it a lot of changes. Omegas have to be protected at all costs and what used to be a recommendation may quickly become a mandate.

Eloise is an Omega, and with her first deployment imminent she’s already decided that she isn’t going to submit to full control, not while the law is still protecting her. However they have not allocated her to some ordinary controller, they have let the very best of them fight for that right. And there is nothing going to stop the one that comes out on top from claiming his prize.

“Complete Control” is the second novel in “The Controllers” series and was released in the year 2019. Anna hadn’t ever met an Alpha. That ended the day her city fell to the Uncorrupted attack. Wounded, loaded with pain-suppressants, and exhausted after an entire night spent fleeing, it was the worst possible time to find herself being plastered against a guy like Hudson.

And the worst possible time to reveal her Omega dynamic. She cannot tear her gaze away from this intimidating and big man that makes his lack of interest abundantly clear.

Two years later. Hudson’s allocated as Anna’s Controller. Neither one of them is happy about it. However neither of them has got a choice. And being forced to work together, may just break each of them.

“Deviant Control” is the third novel in “The Controllers” series and was released in the year 2019. Doctor Lillian Brach, with her dad on the ruling council, had lived a life coveted by others. Rising to Director of the viral research program, she’d carved out a place for herself within the Empire. However all of her life plans changed when she revealed as an Omega.

Erison Tsing, Lilly’s former research partner, has assumed control of the program. Her singularity, unique Omega gift, brings a lot more challenges than it does benefits. And Tsing’s methods of testing these gifts of hers stamp over ethical and moral boundaries.

Secretly suppressing her heat, and clinging to a measure of independence that is unheard of for an Omega, her life’s precarious enough. However when the viral research center is attacked, she makes some rather questionable choices. Her escort soldier’s been shot, by her hand, even while she was attempting to save his life.

Now she’s trapped outside of the safe zone, with enemy soldiers closing in. Her dad had promised that she would never be allocated a Controller. However that is about to change.

“Deviant Evolution” is the fourth novel in “The Controllers” series and was released in the year 2019. Tsing has got big plans for the viral program now that they are back in the heart of the Empire. Plans which Lilly doesn’t agree with.

However that’s the least of her concerns now that Ethan has returned. Because Lilly has been sitting on a secret, and hiding it could see her on trial for treason amid the always escalating stakes of this war.

Run or stay? There are no easy options left with Ethan watching every move that she makes.

“Deviant Betrayal” is the fifth novel in “The Controllers” series and was released in the year 2019. Before the Copper virus came along, they were just ordinary people. Developed in some lab, the virus was hailed as the next stage of evolution. Little did any of them know exactly how it would change them physiologically and physically. It divided them. There were still ordinary folks among them, those for whom the virus didn’t latch onto. And then there were the dynamics, Alpha through to Mu. And Omega, the lowliest of dynamics.

Lilly had experienced a perfect moment of acceptance. For the very first time she had revealed as an Omega, she could see a future with her two Alphas which didn’t fill her with so much dread. So with a bit of independence and mischief, she went off to meet Tsing alone without telling either of her Controllers.

Erison Tsing does not want Lilly to stay, and he does not want to help her run away. He is not Lilly’s friend, nor does he harbor any latent regrets about their previous moment of intimacy. Tsing has got an agenda, and Lilly is going to become collateral damage.

“Owned” is the first stand alone novel and was released in the year 2021. When civilization collapsed at first, survival replaced compassion. Many dark years came before Ava found a delicate peace inside of Sanctuary’s walls. However that was over now. While standing on the desolate rooftop, she watched enemy soldiers take their community over. After just three days on the streets without provisions and nothing but a temperamental handgun to defend herself with, she realized that she was out of better options.

Life had gotten complex long before Nora’s son was born. It was a thousand times harder afterwards. Sanctuary, the peaceful enclave, offered up hope until it got caught between two warring factions. They transformed it into nothing more than a pile of rubble. Now this new community awaited Nora. One where women were owned. She didn’t like being around the men; truth be told, hated em.

However she had to pick somebody, so she picked him, the too perceptive and too young doctor that brought out her temper. Because he felt like a safer option. Turns out, this unassuming doctor was not quite like he appeared.
