One of her early edition books was “Enforcer”, which is one with the supernatural genre of books that she wrote, and is part of a 2 part series on werewolves. The story revolves around people who got caught up to their past lives that are connected to the wolf mafia and involves a lot of running away for their lives and asking some prominent members of other mafia to protect them against death threats as there are compromises that may have happened between them and the mafia boss who has set a chase after them. Included in this book is an erotic sideline story that is also part of the genre that Lauren Dane is good in writing stories like these. From leaders of packs, wolves that are decent to rogue werewolves that are chasing after the main character and the brother of the main character, it will surely set the readers heart racing with intense storylines that could captivate a reader from start to finish of the whole book.
Undercover
Another book from Lauren Dane dated on 2008 which was RT reviewer’s Choice and winner of the best futuristic type erotic romance. The story revolves around a lieutenant in a military that is the main character of the plot that is used to give orders to whoever is under her, but there is only one person that she cannot give the orders, instead she has the opposite of her role as a leader, to the man that she goes to bed with. And with the opposing faction that tries to take over the land that they are protecting, her lover assembles a team to dominate and protect their land, but in return her lover was forced into a political marriage. The main character refused to play as a mistress. But when the time came that her lover’s marriage was over, the man she so follows now wants her in his team again, and on his bed.
But somehow along the way and on assignment with an another member of the team that her love have assembled where she and the team member have to pose as the lover, a spark between the team member and the main character evolves and somehow she discovers a new level of savagery on the bed with the team member, thus creating a triangle of control over the woman that these men have fallen into.
Readers are Fascinated
With her writing style and the coverage of almost several genres on her books, what dominate most is the love stories that are involved into the books that Lauren Dane writes. This is where she truly shines as a writer as many critics have been giving positive comments on her work that they say “she delivers” on the side that they are being captivated by her writing style and stories that will catch people’s interest into reading more of her novels. Some of her most promising stories on her books have a long waiting list of follow ups or sequels that readers are dying to get a grab on because of the compelling story that most of the time leave questions to the readers minds as to what happened with the story and if there are sequels to what she have written. And good news to her avid readers, that she have released new editions and sequels to her most prominent writings such as “Drawn Together” which is based on the series “Giving Chase”. A series full of romance, action and love scenes that readers will just get their imagination running while reading the book. Suggestion to new readers however that they should not skip to the latest release of Lauren Dane’s book but instead try to read the first installment so that they will understand what the new release is all about. Lauren Dane’s books are so interconnected that readers find it difficult to let the other edition go before jumping into the new book that she just released.
