Lauren Runow

Lauren Runow runs on coffee. She says it’s her only vice and swears she’s a better mom for it. When she’s not drinking coffee or writing, she can be found listening to music, reading, doing her local CrossFit, or at the baseball field with her boys in Northern California.

Ms. Runow is a graduate of the San Francisco Academy of Art and she and her husband are founders and co-owners of a community magazine they publish. Active in community activities, she belongs to the Rotary Club and assists with running a non-profit kids science museum. She was given an award by Congressman John Garamendi for Woman of the Year.

Ms. Runow is the author of several popular series of romance novels. She also has a large number of stand-alone novels. Ms. Runow has written many of her books in partnership with Jeannine Colette.

Unwritten was her earliest book with a followup novel called Rewritten making the Unwritten Series of books.

Charles Ashley has been fending for himself since his parents passed away ten years ago. He’s pretty proud of his successes even though, according to most people, his job isn’t all that honorable. But he makes women happy and he considers that an honorable endeavor.

His world is tidy with a wonderful variety of women in his life, women who love his attention and his very special skill sets too. Then Allison walked into his life.

She’s the first woman who caught his attention. The same age, the same interests, the same taste in music. With all the common things between them, his work could be a serious issue between them.

Now he’s starting to question what he does. He doesn’t think he can give up his way of making a living but he’s sure she wouldn’t understand it. If she finds out he may not have a choice.

When asked, Charlie says he’s a customer service representative and has meetings all over the city of San Francisco. The truth is, Charlie gets paid five-thousand dollars to have sex with women. He’s a highly successful escort and he thinks it’s the best job in the world.

His job lets him have sex with some of the most attractive and richest women in San Francisco. There’s no emotions, no strings, no complications, just pure, fantastic sex. He thinks he’s god’s gift to women with a panty-melting smile.

Another highly praised novel by Ms. Runow is Our Song: Single Dad Romance. This story is tender and sensitive and explores the complicated, unsteady relationship between two young adults.

Family opinions tend to insert themselves in others’ relationships. The strife created can ruin a relationship or it can bring them even closer together. It can also create a deep disharmony that could be difficult to ever heal.

Sarah Hart has loved music since she was a child. Growing up in her daddy’s church, she enjoyed singing to the people and they loved her for it. Her daddy was the preacher and he was proud of his little girl and thankful to God for her precious gift of song.

Little girls don’t stay little and as they grow up they find their own voice. Sarah was just like every other young woman. She went about exploring other music, other boys, and other thoughts and feelings.

Sarah’s father was vocal and critical of her choices. He harshly disapproved and it only pushed her away, towards the unknown, which was exciting for her.

Sarah was having grand time, traveling with her band. They were doing well and had a lot of followers. But a devastating accident ended her dream of performing with her band. She was able to finish school and become a kindergarten teacher.

She was enjoying her life as a teacher. Her rock and roll world was in the past and she was making the best of now. Then a part of her past showed up and tossed her world. Adam has come home with his daughter.

Adam Jacobson is famous. He and his band tour the world and he’s a bad boy of rock. He and his band are known for leaving a messy trail of mayhem but inside he’s glad when the band tour takes a break and he can have peace and quiet.

Adam’s private joy is his five-year-old little girl. Behind his bad-boy image is a caring, loving father. He keeps his daughter a secret from the world.

Cailin is a darling little girl. She loves her daddy and loves her life. She doesn’t even know her daddy is famous. Super famous. And the world is about to discover who she is and where she lives.

Sarah is determined to help keep Cailin sheltered from the media, at least while she is in her kindergarten class. Now Sarah and Adam are working together to protect Cailin. The more they work together, the closer they are coming together. The temptations are growing and Sarah wonders if fate brought them all together with Cailin in her classroom. Adam is feeling the same…

Sarah,
I thought my life was complete. I had my daughter and my music and needed nothing more. Then you came into my life, and my heart opened in a way that I never knew possible. Thank you for showing me love and teaching me how to be the man you needed me to be.
Yours forever,
Adam
