Publication Order of Hannah Hickok Witchy Mysteries Books
Lily Harper Hart is a prolific author that has author numerous books and multiple series. She is best known as the author of the Hardy Brothers Security series and the Harper Harlow Mystery series.
Of course, those are not the only series that she has written. She is a very busy author that writes multiple books per year. She is a true romantic and enjoys writing about that in her fiction. In addition to the previously mentioned series, she is also the author of the Maddie Graves Mystery series, An Ivy Morgan Mystery series, and the Rowan Gray Mystery series.
Lily Harper Hart is actually a pen name for the bestselling Amanda M. Lee. Many people believed at one point that Lily Harper Hart was copying Amanda’s style so Amanda had to set the record straight that Lily was actually a pen name. Amanda decided that she wanted to be a writer in her teens and has been working towards that goal ever since. She now writes in multiple mediums including Lily, books under her own names, and as a newspaper reporter.
Deadly Intentions is the first book in the Hardy Brothers Security series. The book features James Hardy who has gotten everything that he’s wanted in his life after opening up his own security business with his brothers. He makes good money and gets to do exciting things, but his life is misses something. Now, she’s just walked through the door. Her name is Mandy and she’s had a crush on James for as long as she can remember, but right now she needs his help. There is someone out there that is trying to hurt her and she hires the Hardy Brothers to protect her. James is on the the job, but he finds himself drawn to her and her to him. He has a strict rule about dating clients that he won’t break. Mandy wants to find out who is threatening her and so does James, but the attraction between the two is too strong to die.
Harper Hart is also the author of the cozy series, A Harper Harlow Mystery. The series begins with Ghostly Interests and introduces us to the title character of the series. Harper Harlow sees ghosts and even manages to talk to them. She has a unique ability and uses that ability to investigate the ghosts before sending them on their merry way. Harlow is proud of her abilities and who she is, but she’s not looking for a relationship. That’s true until she meets a police detective named Jared Monroe. Jared sees the world in black and white, and he doesn’t have any time for gray. He definitely doesn’t believe in ghosts which is one thing that stops his attraction to Harper from going any further. When a body washes up on the shore, both Harper and Jared find themselves on the case. The two go about investigating the case in their own unique ways, but their paths keep crossing and the two of them need to work together. They each have a big personality and that clashes when they first get together, but they are drawn to each other in a unique way.
Wicked Days is the first book in the Ivy Morgan Mystery series. Ivy is a witch and she is happy with who she is. She likes her independence and doesn’t need someone who is going to second guess her life. That changes the day she meets Shadow Lake’s new police officer, Jack Harker. He arrives to town with a haunted past that he doesn’t want to talk about and is looking for solitude in his life. Despite the wishes of these individuals, they keep running into each other. It doesn’t help that a dead body has been discovered on the edge of Ivy’s property. The two find themselves drawn together, but in order to move forward Jack will have to find the murderer before he gets to Ivy.
Another unique character by Harper Hart is Maddie Graves, star of Grave Homecoming. The story sees Maddie returning home to the small-town of Blackstone Bay following her mother’s death. She hasn’t been back in a long time, mostly because of the boy she left behind all those years ago. It’s not long after her arrival that she runs into Nick and realizes that the attraction from all those years ago is still there. Nick is a police detective now and he runs into Maddie when she finds a dead body. Nick is going to investigate the case and he can tell Maddie is hiding something, and he is determined to find out what that is. The truth is that Maddie has a lifelong secret that she has been keeping from him and everyone else: she can see and talk to ghosts. She finds herself in danger thanks to the case and Nick is there to protect her, but can she bring herself to come clean with him and give love a second chance?
Welcoming Seas is the first book in the Rowan Gray Mystery series. Rowan was a photojournalist, but she’s left that life behind to start a new one on a cruise ship. She’s excited for her new career, but she’s also trying to keep her secret. It’s on this ship that she meets Quinn, the head of security on the ship. This was supposed to be an easy job, but he has a major case on his hand when a girl goes missing. Rowan wants to find the girl and works with Rowan to find her when another girl goes missing. Now, the two will need to work together to save their lives while managing to fight off the attraction they feel between each other. Rowan is desperate to keep her secret from Quinn, but the two have more to worry about right now.
I always listen to audio books through Audible. I loved the first 3 Maddie Graves books. I’ve been waiting quite some time to continue, but no other volumes have been available. Will the rest of this series be recorded. I sure hope so. I loved Rowan Gray, Harper Harlow and Ivy Morgan. I’m working through all your book series, but its discouraging to think the complete series may not be made available on all of them. Thanks for all the great hours your books have brought me. Neva
