Lisa Regan is a published fiction writer. She currently resides with her family in Philadelphia.

Lisa was born in Pennsylvania. Before she became a writer, she worked instructing students in the martial arts, as a bookstore manager, a nursing assistant, and a paralegal.

Even though it took her a while to get into her career field, Regan has always had a deep love of books. She attended Bloomsburg University, where she would get her degrees in English and Education. She has been sitting down to write her stories ever since the age of eleven. That was when her parents brought her an old typewriter home and the rest was history.

Lisa Regan is the creator and author of the Claire Fletcher series, which debuted in 2012 with the release of the first book. It would be five more years until the second novel in the mystery series would be released. If you’re into Agatha Christie or thrillers such as Gone Girl, check out this series!

Finding Claire Fletcher is the debut novel in the series by the same name. If you love scintillating mysteries that are full of twists and turns, then you should definitely check out this fast paced tale that will have you turning the pages to find out just what is going to happen next.

You never know what spending the night with a person that you don’t know that well can do, and in this murder mystery, it’s about to be the one thing that sets off a wild crime and a chase that is about to be as confusing as it is scary.

Connor Parks is a detective with the Sacramento police department and he’s struggling. You would think that he could rely on his partner for support, but that is going to be a tough thing to do since he and his wife are divorcing. Now this career is in jeopardy as he hasn’t been exactly performing at the top of his game.

Having your union go south on you is one of those things. You’ve got to be able to try and do what you can to pick the pieces of yourself up and carry on. This is particularly true if you happen to work for the police and your job is to solve crimes. You have to be in possession of some type of clear state of mind.

The detective is looking for a way to solve his problems and that’s going to end up being through having a drink. But at the end of the day, Parks knows that it isn’t going to solve his problems. It does seem to have temporarily helped him out, however, since he ends up hanging out with a gorgeous woman and they wind up being in each others’ arms all night.

It’s one of the best times of his entire life, even if he can’t remember it that clearly. In the morning he wakes up to find that she is nowhere to be found. Even though she has left, Connor finds that she has left behind one clue. Whether it was intentional or an accident, he is not certain. However, he does know that he wants to do whatever he can to try and find her.

Parks is astonished when he finds out that this is somehow linked to a cold case that is around ten years old. As out there as it might seem, the detective is determined to do what he can to try and solve the case of her kidnapping.

Claire Fletcher was thought to be dead as no word had turned up of her in about a decade. She had the new name of Lynn and she was still living with her captor in a new life. She spent that night with Parks and it was more than she could have ever asked for. She hopes that somehow she will be able to meet up with him again and maybe get out of this thing.

Claire might have half hoped that he would follow her and try and somehow know what was going on. At the same time, it’s a good thing that he didn’t. The people that ended up being knowingly tied to her had a way of mysteriously dying. It had happened too many times to be a coincidence. This time will be no exception as Connor’s interaction with her has already made him a target.

It is clear by now that this case is going to be a challenge. The journey to tracking down Lynn or Claire is going to be a risky adventure that might not be one of those things where you’re guaranteed to come out intact. If Parks is not very careful, he could lose his life and leave the case unsolved.

He’s determined to try and figure this thing out, but can this detective solve what’s going on? Can he take on an abduction case, solve it, and come out with his life intact and Claire ending up safe in the process? You’re going to have to pick up a copy of this debut in an engaging mystery series in order to find out.

Losing Leah Holloway is the thrilling sequel to the first book in this suspenseful mystery series. In the first book, readers were able to meet Claire for the first time.

She got away from her abductor around five years to the point that the story begins. She survived, but was badly damaged by what happened. She ends up rescuing children from a car going into a river when a mother drives it in there full speed.

The mother is called Leah and she chooses to drown. It makes no sense to her or Parks, her ex. She had everything, a career and family. Then the detective discovers that there may be a link between a serial killer targeting people in the Sacramento area and this woman.

The two must work together to crack a case and stop a murderer. Can they do it– and fight their feelings for each other? Pick up the second in this series to find out!
