Liz Mugavero is one of the most famous authors of America, who likes to write novels based on the fiction, mystery, and crime genres. She has been writing stories from a very long time, probably when she was just able to hold the pen. Before that, she used to tell them to whoever was willing to listen, although there were not who would listen to her as she was just a small kid at that time. Liz had decided at a very young age that she is going to become an author after growing up. She started doing it very early in her life by writing some bad and anger filled poems, some short stories, and even some storylines for the soap opera. Liz was just 15 years old at that time. Throughout her growing years she did not get wavered or lost her focus in pursuing her dream despite experiencing all the unusual and contrary things happening in her life. Liz saw herself facing some very important questions before becoming a writer. One of them was whether she was really going to become an English teacher with a degree in the subject of English? Or, whether she will be able to make a living for herself by choosing writing as a profession?
Author Liz Mugavero was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States. After completing her school studies in her hometown in Lawrence, Liz went on to earn her Master’s degree in the subjects of writing and publishing. Later, she began working as a journalist PR. Currently, she works in corporate communications and enjoys her stint as a writer. Liz seems very much confident with her writing thing that she will be able to make a handsome living with it. Other than writing novels and short stories, author Liz Mugavero loves to spend time with animals, take long walks on the beach, read the masterpieces of other writers. She enjoys the Starbucks coffee very much. Hailing from Massachusetts, Liz currently lives in Connecticut, along with her family. Her pride seems to have diminished because of Stan’s growing popularity in making healthy pet foods. When she takes Nutty to Carole for a check up, she finds her dead in her chair. Being the last person to enter into her clinic, Stan becomes the primary suspect. Everyone was aware about the professional differences between the two women and so things had become even worse for Stan. Now, she is required to find the real killer and clear her name from the crime. Stan hopes that she some clues related to the murder of Carole Morgannwick that would take her close on the trail of the real killer. It was titled ‘A Biscuit, a Casket’ and continued to feature the main character in the form of Kristan Conor, often called as Stan. Her new business of baking healthy and organic pet foods seemed to be embraced wholeheartedly by the residents of the town of Frog Ledge in Connecticut. Because of the healthy and quality organic treats, the pet animals seemed to live a little longer. However, a local farmer did not seem very lucky in his case. With Halloween approaching near, he asks Stan to host and cater a dog costume party for the Happy Cow Dairy Farm. The dairy farm was a part of the local co-op farm business and was specialized in making quality organic dairy products. It was owned by the farmers Emmalee and Hal Hoffman, who had started to open the farm for parties. They even offered a haunted corn maze to the party members, which was an added attraction. Later, Hal Hoffman’s dead body is found near the maze, which makes the police suspect his wife Emmalee as the murderer at first. But, after a little bit of investigation on her own, Stan finds out that Hal had a number of enemies because of his growing business with his dairy farm. The novel became very much successful like the first novel of the series and helped author Liz to establish herself as a noteworthy author.
