Liz Talley has always had a fascination with books that dates back to the time she learned how to read. She remembers reading Little Golden Books instead of napping when she was a child.

She loves fishing, retail therapy (particularly at Target), and strawberries, and is also a Virgo. Liz married her high school sweetheart and has two beautiful and smart boys.

When she is not busy writing contemporary romances and continuing to edit her historicals, she is usually found doing laundry or working in the flower beds.

Her favorite part about being a writer is being able to write while she’s in her pajamas, without any makeup. Although it is closely followed by coveted reader letters where something that she’s written has hit home. It’s a feeling she loves.

Liz unashamedly writes, reads, and loves romance books. She adores the weight of a book in her hand and anticipating a happy ending. She loves the word play, the magic of story, and the journey. There is nothing better than reading a good book, except for writing one.

Liz’s debut novel, called “Waters Run Deep”, was released in the year 2012. She writes the “Morning Glory” series, the “Boys of Bayou Bridge” series, the “Home in Magnolia Bend” series, and the “New Orleans’ Ladies” series, as well as some stand alone novels.

“The Spirit of Christmas” is the first novel in the “New Orleans’ Ladies” series and was released in the year 2016. Brennan Henry has no time for jolly and holly. He is much too busy boosting the bottom line for his family business. That is, until his eccentric grandpa donates a bunch of money to some stranger on the street. Some nonsense about her representing the true spirit of Christmas. Sure. All Brennan is able to see is now he has a situation with Mary Paige Gentry.

However he then meets Mary Paige. And no matter how hard he searches, it appears that she is the real deal. Compassionate, kind, and with enough sass to keep him intrigued. The first spark of attraction between both of them could land him onto the naughty list. However his is still a dollars-and-cents world. Unless she is able to prove that there is more to the season, and more to life, than just money.

“Charmingly Yours” is the first novel in the “Morning Glory” series and was released in the year 2016. Life in small Morning Glory, Mississippi, for Rosemary Reynolds, is just like the fabric store that she works at: it appears that she is always waiting around for somebody to make the first stitch. Then a beloved childhood friend dies, and leaves behind a gift that sends her on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Rosemary, despite her mom’s protests, heads to New York City to stay in her cousin’s trendy loft in SoHo. Her first day in town, one wrong turn takes her to Little Italy, and right into the arms of outgoing and handsome Sal Genovese.

Sal’s mom wants him to marry a longtime family friend, however to him, Rosemary is a breath of fresh country air, and he is more than happy to show her a good time. Quickly, she gets swept up in a world that she thought just existed in the movies. To turn this two week fling into a forever thing, she and Sal are going to have to make each and every moment count.

“Perfectly Charming” is the second novel in the “Morning Glory” series and was released in the year 2016. Jess Culpepper, a Morning Glory native, is desperate to leave town after divorcing the only guy she has ever dated. She takes a temporary nursing job in Florida and, thanks to the bequest to Lacy (her late friend) has enough money to rent a condo right on the beach. She is not ready to literally trip over her old lab partner from high school, and definitely not ready for just how deliciously hot he has become.

Ryan Reyes, who was once known as “The Brain”, has worked very hard to become more than that skinny nerd that girls politely tolerated and jocks once bullied. At the age of 26, he’s retired from science to run his charter fishing business in Pensacola and spend some of his leisure time catching up on the debauchery that he missed. However when the unattainable girl from his teen fantasies moves in just down the beach, some old feelings come flooding back.

Their scorching attraction quickly leads them into bed, however what begins as a no-strings-attached bit of fun is made complicated by a return to Morning Glory and the shadows of their shared past. Can the geek and the head cheerleader redefine themselves and forge forward to find their own happily ever after?

“All That Charm” is the third novel in the “Morning Glory” series and was released in the year 2017. Now that Morning Glory is in Eden Voorhees’ rearview mirror, she is going to New Orleans to pursue the dream that she put on hold when she was caring for her disabled mom. However in the Big Easy, all she finds is a roach-infested apartment, dwindling funds, and a non-existent job. Refusing to slink on back home and admit defeat, she accepts a part-time caregiver job to keep her theater dreams alive.

Nick Zeringue juggles the demands of a special needs daughter with his restaurant empire. Devastated after his wife has left him, he throws all of his energies into making his growing restaurants the very best in the whole nation. His daughter’s nanny quits, so he replaces her with the alluring and quiet Eden. Attraction begins to sizzle between them, however Nick isn’t going to risk another broken heart for somebody that might not stick around.

Eden’s got a plan for her life and it doesn’t include a guy. At least not yet. Then her hidden identity as Lulu LaRue, a cabaret singer, drops her (literally) into the lap of her boss, which makes her rethink what she has always wanted. And when the opportunity to be on Broadway tap dances her way, she has to choose: does she want fame or love.
