The American author Liza Street is a highly regarded author for writing a number of well-received paranormal romance stories. Early and Personal Life

Always passionately interested in reading and writing from a very early age, Liza Street has been developing her craft for a long-time. Born in Sacramento in the United States, she has taken inspiration from other romance writers, essentially making it her own. First reading the paperbacks of her grandma, she would become fascinated in them as a creative outlet for her.

Taking a lot of her inspiration from the world around her, she would continually be putting it all back into her writing. She also works as a freelance editor in-between writing books, many of which focus on paranormal romance stories. Currently writing to this day, she has a lot more to come yet, with plenty of further titles planned for release on the horizon.

Writing Career

The first novel that Liza Street would publish was titled ‘Fierce Wanderer,’ and it would come out back in 2016. Setting up the first book in the ‘Sierra Pride’ series of novels, it would set the tone for what was to follow with her paranormal romance novels. Other series in similar vein would also follow, such as ‘Corona Pride,’ ‘Dark Pines Pride,’and ‘Rock Creek Clan’ to name just a few.

She would also go on to write various different series alongside other writers, including ‘Spellbound Souls’ and ‘Spellbound Shifters.’ Writing with other writers like Keira Blackwood and Skye MacKinnon, she became hugely successful, while also contributing to various collections. There are also plenty of omnibus editions of her work, as she has gone on to really establish a name for herself with her paranormal romances.

Wild Engagement

First published back in 2018, this book would initially come out on the 2nd of May, as it would be book 3.5 in the ‘Dark Pines’ series. Essentially a novella, it’s a shorter romance, with a self-contained narrative that can easily be read as a stand-alone title. Previously released in a serialized format in Liza’s newsletter, it has gone on to become its own story, and is very much aimed at adults with its themes.

Once her best-friend Summer married into the Jaynes family, Becca Van Housen has been feeling alone, but all that is soon to change. Meeting Nick Gaines, a wolf-shifter, naked on the side of the road, as he came to Dark Pines to find his supposedly fated mate Hayley. Now embarrassed after Hayley doesn’t remember him, he soon starts to fall for Becca instead, but can Nick face up to the mistake from his past. Will he be able to find happiness with Becca finally, can he face a monster, and what, eventually, will become of their wild engagement?

The story itself has so much going for it, as it really builds upon the world of Dark Pines, bringing it to life once again. Creating a rich and evocative atmosphere too, there’s so much bubbling just underneath the surface as well, with plenty to enjoy. From its engaging characters to its fun romance, readers will definitely find a lot escapist entertainment to appreciate here.

Savage Thirst

This was originally brought out in 2017 on the 7th of June, and it would be the fourth title in the long-running ‘Fierce Mates: Corona Pride’ series. A paranormal romance series of novels, the books are all set around the same pride of shape-shifters, while each being stand-alone romances. The books themselves are definitely very much adult in nature, and they’re easy to pick up at any point in the series.

As a younger vampire living in the Corona Mountains, it is Gracie Jane Moseley who is searching for vengeance after Cormac Rhees, the local sheriff, murdered her lover. Now, a hundred years later, she will have that revenge on his descendant who’s also living in Belnedge, Montana, as she seeks to satiate her rage and blood lust. That’s when Frasier Rhees, a mountain lion shifter, becomes enraptured by her, as he will do whatever it takes to be near to her, even if it’s dangerous. Will the two of them finally end up together, can they put the past behind them, and what will become of Gracie’s savage thirst?

It’s an entertaining paranormal romance story with a lot to offer, as there’s something to enjoy on each and every page turn. The characters of both Gracie and Frasier are well drawn, as they feel fully three-dimensional on the page for the reader as well. Letting the story speak for itself, it really develops on the world of the previous novels, while saying something different in the process.
