Initially released through the WaterBrook publishing label, this would originally come out in 2016 on the 19th of April. Marking the second title in the Pathfinders series of books, it continues the ongoing historical saga, with the different arcs of the characters brought forwards. The previous novel ‘The Wood’s Edge,’ would introduce many of the characters, with this carrying on in much the same vein, with plenty of twists and turns of its own.

Many Sparrows
Once again released through the WaterBrook publishing label, this would come out on the 29th of August in 2017. Working as a stand-alone novel, it wouldn’t be a part of any series, but it would be similar to many of Benton’s other novels in terms of themes and ideas. Now she must travel to their hideout and rescue him, bringing him back to safety, crossing the Ohio River, as she heads deep into their country. With the help of Jeremiah Ring, a frontiersman, they journey there, but it’s Jeremiah finds that his own Shawnee sister, known as Rain Crow, has taken Jacob for her own calling him Many Sparrows, that he must question whether he can keep his promise to Clare. How will their loyalties and ties test them all? Can they overcome these difficult hurdles? What will become of Many Sparrows?
