After a little while, they come to know that their matrimonial prospects in the little town of Michigan were virtually nonexistent. Hence, the 19 year old Faith Kallahan answers an advertisement for the mail order brides, along with her sisters June and Hope. She also tries to deliver an entertaining and light-hearted story with important moral values and Christian beliefs. As June leaves her hometown in Michigan and arrives in Seattle, she comes to know that Eli Messenger, who is the assistant of a well known evangelist called as Isaac Inman, is ill. After a little while, he dies and June continues to stay in Seattle and begins to work at an orphanage. Soon, she realizes that Isaac is trying to let the orphans go in order to build a tabernacle. As she tries to convince Issac about the errors of his different way of thinking with the help of Parker Sentell, one of Eli’s friends, a romance begins to blossom between her and Parker. June begins to keep herself away from the crusade of Isaac Inman and tries to help out the Aunt of her friend who operates the local orphanage. When her heart gets pulled towards the needs of the orphanage, she begins to think whether it is the will of God to allow the building of the tabernacle or it is just the lustful intention of Isaac. The novel proved to be an enjoyable read to a majority of the readers and helped author Lori to establish herself as a well known writer of the Christian romance genre.

I am the same age as you and recently found time to READ and it is my passion. I recently started reading your books and I am thoroughly enjoying them, especially “Faith”. When I was a child, I read the “House on the Prairie” series and later watched them on TV. So I enjoy pioneer, christian books and find yours delightful. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with the world. We all need some hope and laughter in our lives, especially during this pandemic. Is there anyway you could send me a complete list of your books in chronological order? Right now I am reading your large print books but am having cataract surgery soon so hope to be able to read the regular print books. Thank you and keep up the wonderful writings and inspirations you are giving me and many others. Hugs, Judy
