Lucy Score is an Amazon Kindle Store and Wall Street American bestseller author of romance books. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania and was the oldest of three in a book-loving family that would spend most of their time buried in books. She’s always wanted to write books from early, started writing in the second grade and over the years mastered the art of writing articles, blogs, essays and finally books.
Miss Score became a published author in 2015 when her bestselling standalone novel, Pretend You’re Mine was published. She’s also collaborated with Claire Kingsley and co-authored the Bootleg Springs series. Before becoming a full-time author, Lucy took worked as a yoga instructor, event planner, newspaper lackey, and a bartender. When not dedicating her time writing, you will find her in the gym, on the couch or in the kitchen.
Pretend You’re Mine
Harper left the house with the purpose of never seeing her ex again; she just picked up the keys of the car and drove away. When she sees that the fuel is just over, she turns aside in a town to ask for help and also, beg for someone to let her call her best friend so she can take her on her couch for a while.
As soon as she puts her feet in Benevolence, she finds herself faced with an injustice; she does not hesitate to help, and meets, Luke and his sister Sophie. Harper was passing through the place until a proposal makes her days there lengthen to a month. Luke’s mother is determined to find his son a girlfriend and what better option than Harper to pose as his girlfriend, so both will benefit because she will have a house and a job in Luke’s office. Things start to get complicated when the sparks fly, and they are unable to resist what they feel but the secrets are a double-edged sword, and if you are not able to unveil them they become encyclical and each time they hurt more. Harper is all sweetness and light, but Luke lives anchored in the past where darkness holds him back. Will love triumph? Will the light be able to illuminate the darkness?
Pretend You’re Mine is narrated from the point of view of the two lead characters: Luke Garrison and Harper Wilde. It’s an addictive light read featuring a multitude of dialogues. The plot focuses on the romance of the protagonists, but when we are advanced in the story, you will get good surprises because several turns appear that will have you even more hooked. Regarding the characters, the protagonists are very well crafted, and in the end, we see a clear development. Additionally, the story would not be the same without the secondary characters that contribute many things to the novel and enable the readers to get a better understanding of the main characters.
Like earlier said, Lucy Score does a fantastic job in her characterization. You will enjoy reading about the initially arranged romance between Luke and Harper. Harper, the heroine is affectionate, cheerful, kind, hardworking and courageous. Also, Luke, the male protagonist is funny, sweet, mysterious and intense. Something happened to him that he is not able to forget and that has made him not able to advance in many aspects of his life. Other characters that appear in the story include Aldo, Sophie, Gloria, Claire, Charlie, Frank, Joni, and Ty who are essential to the story.

She is willing to write a piece for the magazine about the handsome but strange Carter Pierce and his organic farm and hope that this will earn her a position as a senior editor. A position she’s always wanted ever since she became a journalist. Unfortunately for Summer, the last thing that the retired Army Ranger Carter wants or needs is a sneaky New York City journalist bulldozing into his life, and following everywhere for an entire week and finding out how damaged he is.
What all starts out as a simple run of the mill trip to Pierces Acre transforms into a soul searching, heartwarming and an eye-opening experience for Summer and quickly changes into some of the hottest experiences she’s ever had in her life. Damn Carter, organic farmers, are not supposed to be so charming or complicated as he is. Carter has Summer questioning everything that she has been working for because he prefers a life of solitude, farming on his land and handling his personal demons alone. But unlucky for him, there is something about Summer that makes him want a taste of her juices, not only once but for the rest of his life.
No More Secrets is a simple and easy read story with an equal share of drama, fun and perfect steamy encounters. One aspect that makes the story so fascinating is the fact that it’s set in a small picturesque town in upstate New York. Besides the central romance theme in the story, Lucy Score also brushes a little bit about PTSD, a sort of “disease” that has affected the large population of men returning from active duty and how love can help overcome such a disease.

I would have enjoyed it more if you had dropped fewer f-bombs, but I can’t tell you how happy I am to have received the book on book bub. Online it appears there is a second book in this series. When will it be available?
Hi, I am an old lady. I own 8 of your books and some from the library across town. I requested my hometown library to get your books ASAP. I am not getting any younger. Rita
You could buy a Kindle from Amazon (I paid $50), then join Kindle Unlimited as they usually have a half-price fee for the first six months and borrow from Kindle.
