Lyla Sage is a published romance author that loves all things to do with love and romance.

She describes herself as being a hopeless romantic. She resides in the Wild West with her companion, a loyal and sweet rescue pitbull that also happens to be blind. Lyla says that she writes romance that often comes across feeling like some of her favorite things, such as blue skies and sunshine.

She loves to write but when she is not busy doing that she can be found reading. This can include reading about hometown heroes or cowboys, but she also likes to find out what’s going with the billionaires, monsters, and mob bosses also.

Lyla says that she probably got started reading romance stories a little earlier than she probably should have, but at the same time it got her started with loving books, so there’s a silver lining. The author gives some of the credit for her success while writing to her founding and being a member of the writing club at her junior high. There may have been just three members that belonged to the group, but that’s okay!

The author says that when it comes to writing, she happens to do it much the same way that she reads, which is with joy and obsessively. She says that there is nothing that she happens to love more than the subject of love, except for the exception of what would likely be Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. The author can typically be found in a variety of places, such as in the mountains, at her favorite bookstore, or hanging out under a heated blanket to keep her warm. He just can’t look away from her, and cannot believe that this is the little sister of his best friend all grown up. While his mind is trying to tell him that nothing can happen, the rest of him just seems to be magnetically attracted to her and isn’t getting the memo.

While Luke may be falling for her, Emmy is not even in the romantic zone at all. Luke knows his best bet is to keep a distance from his buddy’s sister, and he wants to honor that smart thinking.
