Writing Career

Beginning her literary career back in 2020, Lynnea Lee would start off with the novel ‘A Deal for Zeylum,’ which would also be the first in her ‘Tallean Mercenaries.’ This novel would feature a paranormal romance story following engaging characters in a science-fiction setting, with each book being a stand-alone set in the same universe. Her other series would follow along in a similar vein, including ‘Xarc’n Warriors’ and ‘Xarc’n Warriors: Mountains’ to name just a few.

Over the years Lee’s writing has reached countless readers from around the world, as she’s said exactly what it is that she wants to say. She’s also contributed to various other series, such as the ‘Outlaw Planet Mates,’ becoming a key fixture of the literary circuit within her genre. Maintaining a presence both offline and on, she continues to write on a regular and consistent basis, and there’s lots more yet.

A Future for Zharor

This book would first come out on the 13th of May in 2021, and would be the seventh book in the ‘Tallean Mercenaries’ series. Carrying on from the past books, it has its own entirely self-contained story, while using the premise of the previous books to further develop the franchise. Published through the Kindle publishing platform, it would be met with much anticipation by an already eager following of fans.

Rescued from the Dominion breeding facility, Zharor the alien captain brings Chrissy to safety, and he’s completely unlike any other Tallean male she’s seen. Looking for some no-strings fun, Chrissy sets about in a passionate affair with the handsome alien Zharor, before they head back. Returning to Vosthea, Chrissy then refuses to see Zharor, only for him to later learn she’s pregnant with their baby, and he aims to claim them both. Will they finally become an item, can they overcome their differences, and what will become of a future for Zharor?

There’s so much to this story, while also making sure it’s easy to follow for a light-hearted and fun casual read. It knows its audience, with its engaging premise, letting its story really speak for itself in an entertaining manner. The characters are also compelling, as they have fully three-dimensional personalities, really staying with the reader.

Captured by the Hunter

Originally published on the Kindle publishing platform back in 2021, this would first come out on the 9th of December. Marking the seventh title in the ‘Xarc’n Warriors’ series, it’s set in the same world as the previous books, while being an entirely stand-alone adventure. There are some elements there for returning fans though, as it continues to develop the overall world and setting of the franchise.

Hiding away in her fortress, Tilly hopes to hide away from the human-eating bug-attack from space with her dog Waffles. That’s when Rayk’n, the Xarc’n Warrior finds her, and claims her for his, despite her initial attempts to subdue him after breaking in. Breaking free after she captures him, the two of them embark on a passionate romantic affair, finding each other in the process. Can they overcome the obstacles in their way, will they remain safe from the outside world, and what will happen after they find themselves captured by the hunter?

It’s a fun story with an entertaining setup, making the most of its premise, pushing it to its full potential in the process. There’s lots of passion and romance and its easy to follow, making it the ideal quick and casual read for any occasion, as its easy to pick. With its addictive and compelling narrative it’s also difficult to put down, as it’s a constant page-turner throughout each and every page.
