She then wedged a fierce campaign, spending several hours each day in front of her computer all in a bid to get her work feature in top charts as well as under the gaze of Harper Collins. Mel worked tirelessly to make her story (a British female cop chasing a murderer, featuring kidnap and touching on human trafficking) recognized in the manner in which she wanted and it worked, her work started enjoying the much sort after attention.

Mel Comley is also very organized. She has severally in the past admitted that if you are chaotic the chances are you might never be able to sort out a plot with success. In fact, besides being organized, she understands the importance of working with a clear mind especially when it comes down to writing. Though she writes daily, she has a bad habit of procrastinating too much after which she finds it very challenging to get back onto the driver’s seat. She also claims, finding a reliable and trustworthy editor has been her toughest task to date. She puts a lot of effort into the plot and an equal amount of effort in making sure that her final pieces are top notch for her target audiences before it is cleared to be uploaded as an eBook. She clearly understands that fact that once you have lost a reader getting them back is close to impossible hence she makes her work error free and super exciting before presenting it out for general reading.
