Maggie has been writing since she was a child. She was a huge fan of Nancy Drew and decided early that writing mysteries would be a very good way to spend her time. Her father was an officer in New York City police department meaning that she had a concrete background from which she would extract her stories. With time, she has come to appreciate the wisdom of that act and realized that at times if you came to listen to people’s opinions then you would get lost. Another thing she also learnt is that she could improve her writing habits by understanding what people love to see in writing and whether it rhymes with what she had in mind.

Even though she went into the writing industry knowing that something like this might come up one she wasn’t fully prepared when it happened and it hit her like a surprise. She had learnt her lesson, and it gave her the courage to move on because if she didn’t, she would be forever discouraged. One thing however changed; she stopped reading the reviews unless they were sent by the publisher of her books otherwise she would disregard other reviews.
