This time, Katie Lightfoot is not only a new witch but also the owner of Savannah’s most enchanting bakery. The new world brewing portions, casting portions and mastering magical powers is demanding a lot of her time and concentration. However, this doesn’t mean that Katie can’t free her tight schedule to go for a picnic with Declan McCarthy, the firefighter. Her picnic plans crumble once she comes across man’s corpse.

The corpse has a tattoo which links it with a secret society. That’s not all! An important object which was very vital to the group is missing from the dead man’s body. Sooner, Katie realizes that the killing was not only about taking the man’s life but something more. Both aunt Lucy and her niece decide leave the baked cakes and chase after the killer…

Charms and Chocolate Chips

Katie Lightfoot’s schedule is really squeezed due to her demanding day-to-day activities; brewing spell spiced goods in Honeybee bakery and a volunteer in a local environmental group. She has very little or no time at all for her boyfriend, Declan McCarthy. To top it all, her sealed fate of becoming a witch witch is calling for her…strongly.

Katie tries to avoid her fate but she finds out it is not as easy as mixing recipes and spells to brew delicious cakes. As she finds herself mixed in murder, she decides to channel her witch powers. Katie’s mystical instincts assure her that there is more than just murder when a colleague from the environmental group is killed. She believes that her instincts were right all along when members from her coven are next on the killer’s list. She had to channel her powers soon…otherwise, she might find herself brewed and chewed by a dark powerful magic.
