Mallory Crowe is an American contemporary romance novelist who writes the Cross Falls, Devereaux Billionaires, Billionaires in the City, Fractured Farrells, and the Stolen Hearts series of novels. She was born and raised in Michigan, from where she fell in love with romance novels. Crowe has always loved reading ever since she was a young girl, and has fond memories of being the only girl that her teacher ever had to yell at, for reading a romance novel in a middle school class. As a girl, he remembers skipping to the end of novels just to check if the heroine and hero ended up together. Despite her love for reading and her vivid imagination, she never thought she would have a career as an author. Instead of pursuing her passion for stories, she went to college, took an accounting course, and proceeded to have a comfortable career as a CPA. Once she was established as an accountant, the writing bug came back, and she started writing a paranormal romance draft. She would go on from that first novel and eventually tried her hand in romantic suspense and contemporary romance, which is where she found her writing groove. Her interest heightened she threw herself into studying the publishing industry with the same zeal that had seen her pass her CPAs with excellence. She published her first novel “Finding Fire”, the first of the “Bad Boys Of The Underworld” series and has never looked back since. She still lives in Michigan with her husband and their three dogs and spends most of her leisure time hiking, working with animal rescue, and watching a lot of TV.

Mallory Crowe makes high standards for herself and to this day never feels like she has made it. However, her journey to full time career writing is still a distinct memory as she can still remember the day like it was yesterday. Walking into the office twenty-six minutes past the usual eight am arriving time, she had immediately been informed by her boss that she was late for a presentation. Given how little she had prepared, she gave one of the most embarrassing of presentations in front of her boss as all she could think of was her novels that she had just self-published. Based on the advice of a few of her friends that had published before, she had published the first five novels of the “Bad Boys Of The Underworld” and “Billionaires in the City” and uploaded them all within a fortnight. The day of the presentation was the day when “Teaching the Boss”, the first novel of the Billionaires in the City had started getting some traction on Amazon. She spent the whole day refreshing the page only to find that the novel’s rank only went higher and higher with each refresh. That day was the moment it dawned on her that she could make a career out of writing. Two months later, she quit to pursue a full time writing career.

Most of the novels are set in New York City neighborhoods such as Queens, Brooklyn, Soho, the Hamptons, and Upper East Side, which provide the rich and fantastic settings that typically make for the penultimate contemporary city romance. Most of the novels have recurring characters the most important of which are the Devereaux brothers and sisters who play lead and supporting roles in almost all the novels. The significant members of the family include Jace, Emma, Michael and Luke and their fiancés, girlfriends and wives. They also make an appearance in other novels such as the Fractured Farell series and the Stolen Hearts series that are spin offs from the original Billionaires In The City and Bad Boys Of The Underworld series. The novels are entertaining narratives with love, romance, suspense, and mystery spicing up their story lines. Their premises are intriguing making for quick build romances from the energetic characters that culminate in a happily ever after.
