Mallory Monroe is the pseudonym of Teresa McClain-Watson, a bestselling and award winning literary author who has written more than 100 titles.

As Monroe, she made her debut when she penned “Romancing the Mob Boss,” the first novel of the “Mob Boss” series of novels in 2011. The author currently has more than sixty titles to her name spread across more than seventeen series of novels.

Before she became a bestselling author, she was an investigator for three years and an executive editor for several years more.

She is a well read woman who has gone to the University of Mississippi, Florida State University, the University of North Florida, and Florida A & M University. Mallory dropped out of law school and holds a masters in education and history.

Monroe’s most popular works in the “Mob Boss” series and the “Gabrini Men” spinoff are some of her best written works.

In her works, Mallory combines drama, shocking plot twists, love, redemption, hate, betrayal, revenge and passion using a delectable writing style. She writes in such a manner as to leave her readers turning the pages to find out just what happens next.

Mallory Monroe’s work “Romancing the Mob Boss” is the story of Reno Gabrini and Trina Hathaway. Trina works in Las Vegas as a waitress but has been seeing a man she met at the club that she likes. She was hoping their relationship would progress but is not disappointed when he disappears.

A week later she is interviewing for a job on the Vegas Strip at the luxurious PaLagio Casino and Hotel, when she learns that her man was the owner. He now wanted to rekindle their passionate nights.

Her life soon spirals into a dramatic new world where ever increasing violence and family ties start roping them in. Reno Gabrini happens to be a man’s man but when he spent a few nights with Trina, he knew that she was the one she wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

But it is not long before he realizes that capturing her heart is going to be an uphill task. His mob connections only serve to make their romance more uncertain even though he is determined to make her his.

It is an interracial romance that tests the essence of love as Trina and Reno learn that there are no perfect endings, easy answers to love and that ultimately it will be their devotion and love for each other that will help them find their way.

“The Heart of the Matter” by Mallory Monroe sees Trina and Reno, our favorite characters, make a comeback. They are now running from the hounds of hell, as Reno’s enemies are coming after him and his wife barely a day after their wedding.

He is a man of honor that would never start a fight but will stand up for himself when he is shown disrespect. However, he does not know who this enemy is this time around and protecting his wife is going to be very difficult.

Meanwhile, Trina is concerned by how tumultuous their lifestyle has become. She also does not like the overprotective behavior that Reno has previously been showing. She is fighting back but is learning that taming Reno is not very simple.

They are both determined to ensure their marriage works even if the odds could not be stacked higher against them.

Things turn very interesting when Reno discovers he had a son who his new enemies are now targeting. Trina and Reno are discovering that their very love for each other as well as their very lifestyle is under attack from some very formidable enemies.

Mallory Monroe’s novel “Love and Retribution” is a gripping romance novel. This time around, Trina and Reno are bringing Tommy Gabrini, the handsome, gorgeous and tall African American woman, on their rollercoaster ride.

Reno went back to Las Vegas in an attempt at reigniting his romance with Trina. But while he is enjoying their blissful reunion, they are interrupted by the news that a prominent boss has gunned down his sister.

He asks for the help of a beautiful lone wolf named ShoShawna Shanks, who happens to be the only person that could get the attention of Tommy Gabrini.
Shawna and Tommy are seeking to reignite their tumultuous love affair, even as Trina and Reno are looking to keep them alive. But they have to deal with some dark forces determined to tear them apart.

   Love Monroe books from day one I picked it up and look forward to see what is coming out. No Love the Gabriel and Sinatra families, there is still so much to tell. To be honest j do not care much for the new Rags books but I will keep buying

   I have read everyone of these books and i have also purchased them. I love her different styles, from the stand alone books to the Mob Bosses. Some complain they are the same or something wrong but they are really close to things families go through wealthy, middle class or just dirt poor. Family is everything.
   There are more that protect and take care of than not and every emotion and problem that plagues them also happens in real life.
   Keep writing and i’ll keep buying.

   I just wanted to say that I appreciate this author and because of her style of writing and can’t finish one book before I’m looking for the next. They’re like a TV series with cliff hangers that keep you coming back. The development of one character in the mist of one story this peaks my curiosity and I purchase the very next. I own over 67 books. Entire series in most cases my first being “The Presidents Girlfriend” – 11 years and almost 70 books later I’m still invested in these series.
