Marc Cameron is the highly acclaimed American author of the Jericho Quinn series of thriller novels. Pinnacle Books have published Cameron’s works in English. The series revolve around the genres of literature and fiction, mystery, thriller and suspense.

Marc Cameron is a native of Texas, but has had to travel a lot. Before venturing into the literary world, Cameron served in various ranks as a law enforcement agent for over 25 years. For twenty of those years, he worked with the federal government. As a law enforcement agent, Cameron has been on missions in Alaska, Manhattan, Canada, Mexico and many other places.

Cameron has a second-degree black belt in jujitsu. He often gives lessons to other agencies and civilian groups on jujitsu defensive techniques. Cameron is a certified scuba diver, man-tracker and an avid adventure motorcyclist.

Marc Cameron presently lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and BMW 1200GS motorcycle that he loves very much and that is often the subject of his thrillers, which widely feature bikers and bikes. The hero in his thrillers, OSI Agent Jericho Quinn, also goes around cruising his great BMW GS. CODE 451.com ranked Marc Cameron among the top five Best action-thriller authors in 2013.Cameron has had his short stories published in the Saturday Evening Post and BOYS’ LIFE.

As a child, Marc Cameron loved to watch Indiana Jones and James Bond movies, which he believes aroused his interest to become the writer that he is in what he otherwise calls Action Adventure books. The Marc Cameron books are generally about saving the world, with ‘good guys’ trying to out-do the ‘evil guys.’

The stories usually begin with a crime and a series of mysteries, which the main character, Jericho Quinn, is out to solve. The entire process of finding answers to troubling questions and the efforts made to solve conflicts is packed with action, adventure and unforeseen discoveries that revolve and evolve at a fast suspenseful pace that keeps the reader glued.

All four of Cameron’s novels; National Security, Act of Terror, State of Emergency, and Time of Attack feature Jericho Quinn. Quinn is a hybrid of the best law enforcement agents. He is quick, smart, fast and often ruthless. He is effective in his job as an agent.

Quinn is an Air Force Academy graduate who is super-trained in the art of war. Also, a Champion boxer and trained assassin, Quinn poses a physique of power, and a mind of wit. He is the kind of guy who gets to accomplish the kind of tasks others would only wish they could.

Both a superhero and normal ordinary person with personal issues and problems like every other person, Quinn is a character to easily love.Prior to becoming an OSI agent, Quinn serves as an Air Force Combat Rescue Officer (CRO). The long dreary, and demanding mental and physical training endured in the Academy leave him both a strong body and a tough will.

He is intensely patriotic, has a strong moral sense, and enjoys a good fight.Quinn’s preferred mode of transport, the motorbike, makes him even more effective in his job, as he can maneuver on tiny lanes, back lanes and streets, going after the bad guys.

His attire too, the bulletproof black leather, is effective as protective gear, while it gives him the look of a simple superhero, dressed in ordinary biker gear. Two early books in Marc Cameron’s Jericho Quinn Series include National Security and Act of Terror. National Security: Pinnacle Books first published the novel in November 1, 2011.National Security is the first book in the Jericho Quinn series, and it features the OSI Agent, Jericho Quinn.

A new wave of terrorism has come down on America, and criminals are striking indiscriminately, whenever there may be humans to destroy. This new wave of crime involves individuals injected with some biological weapon, prepared and willing to die, or spread killer diseases that will destroy massive lives. The Director of National Intelligence brings in Quinn, the hero who will save the land.

Quinn has the soul of a warrior and his skills in weaponry and physical combat are unmatched. He is a super athlete and seems to handle anything that calls for physical force. He is a disciplined power-horse, who takes it upon himself to carry out effectively the duties and assignments assigned to him on security issues. He is powerful, determined and can only stop after he finally solves the problem.

Quinn comes with a code name, Less. However, there is nothing ‘less’ about the kind of discoveries, achievements and resolutions he effects. He works as spy and warrior, employing simple but effective methods, to bring down the destructive group. He saves the day. Act of Terror: Published on May 1, 2012, Act of Terror is Marc Cameron’s second book in the Jericho Quinn Series.

After the terror attack carried out by human weapons, the next attack on American soil comes from within, planned by individuals who are American citizens. We meet a Quinn who is well versed in handling of all kinds of weaponry, from firearms to blades and other crude weapons. His brilliance and smartness is breathtaking. He is so good at what he does, and very dangerous when dealing with the bad guys.

In Act of Terror, several of terrifying acts take place. From suicide bombers, to a flight attendant on an annihilation mission, a police officer gone rogue and a CIA headquarters Deputy Director on a murderous mission. America is in chaos. Fear and panic reigns. These terrifying series of episodes are so close and gruesome, they leave even the president in confusion.

To find answers to difficult questions that could lead to solving this conflict, Quinn finds himself first in some remote part of Asia, and later in Afghanistan, where he stumbles on a chilling discovery of a school training terrorists.

Then he finds himself in a tight rush, racing against time to save the government, with an attack seeming imminently inevitable. Just like the hero that he is, Quinn saves the day and we all heave a deep sigh of relief.

#1 Just what is the relatinshiop between you and Tom Clancy? Are you the same person with differnt psuedonyms, or ? Confusing.
#2 When will you issue ALL of your books in audio format? Many fans (like me) are seriously visually impaired, and can only enjoy your books if someone reads them to us. Also, it is much easier to listen to a book while travelling, or even driving, than having to read it. I used to love holding a book, but I can no longer read for more than about 10 min, at a time before migraines set in. PLease go audio!

I really enjoy listening to the Jericho Quinn series. It’s too bad only a few are available in audio book format. Any plans on releasing all of the Jericho books in audio book format?
