An entire town of fans are going towards the man that pulled one over on her the year before.
She hasn’t forgotten how he deceived her, and it’s a sore spot for Kylie. But when she meets up with Cole once more, there’s still something there. She simply cannot deny the chemistry between them– that same electric chemistry that pulled her to him the first time.
For his part, Cole is on his own personal romantic mission. Kylie may have left him behind, but he hasn’t been able to forget about anything when it comes to her. She still has that sweet country smile that drives him crazy. He misses her a lot and wrote a song that was just for her. Once that was done, he knew what he had to do.

The main character in this novel is LeeAnn Walker. She’s a yoga teacher and runs her grandmother’s ranch. It’s a place of beauty, and the last thing that she wants to see is its natural purity violated by an oil company that is desperate to get their hands on the mineral rights.
However, the ranch is at risk unless she can track down the paperwork that says that she owns the mineral rights. The worst part about all of this is that the guy leading the charge to take the minerals is a handsome stranger that she had just kissed. It was supposed to have the purpose of making her ex-boyfriend jealous, but now she’s come to regret it.
The yoga teacher is now officially embarrassed. For his part, Jonah Hamilton enjoyed the kiss. He thought that he was going to have a pretty good day. That is, until he discovered that the pretty blonde woman that had kissed him is the same person that he is being called to town for. Now that she knows who he is and what he’s doing there, her attitude is frostier.
She’s definitely not going to like him any better if she ends up being forced to have drilling on her land. That’s not going to make LeeAnn happy at all. She has to track down the paperwork or she might be at risk. The only thing is, he’s still attracted to her. Ever since they kissed, he’s been unable to see her as anything but someone that he wants to kiss again.
She may be stubborn, but he has a way of winning women over. Even if she has to allow drilling on her land, she might fall for him anyway. He knows that he has a job to do as well, however, and wants to get a promotion that might be coming down the pipe for him if he can pull this off and get the drilling rights.
He’s determined to be a professional, but can Jonah resist the temptation to make things more personal? He’s going to have the internal fight of a lifetime once he starts getting closer to LeeAnn.
