In her dreams, she is not Skye but Mariah, and she cannot understand why a man is chasing her and asking why she keeps chasing the moon. What is it with all the nightmares? Is there any way she can stop them and go back to her normal life? Well, it turns out that life is about to get more exciting for this young lady.

One night while at the club where her boyfriend works, Skye is led into a VIP room but on waking up, she finds herself in a hi-tech underground world named Terra. In this world, everyone calls her Mariah. After a little digging, she learns that Mariah is the daughter of a member of Circle of Eight, which makes her one of the most influential members of this society. She is also in charge of a rebellion working against an oppressive government. For a few days, life is a haze for Skye now Mariah. She no longer knows who she is and if that is not enough, she also has to learn to lead in a world she knows little about.
Mariah’s life would have been easier had it not been for Dawn, a handsome yet haunted soldier. Dawn views Mariah a betrayer and only a shell of the person she was before. He swore to hate Mariah forever even though his eyes tell a different story. Why does Mariah feel so conflicted about Dawn? What is it about Dawn that makes Mariah questioning her heart? Read this story for these answers and more. The characters are intriguing, and it is fun following Mariah as she goes through her transformation and works to discover her real identity.

Alternity is the perfect definition of a well-written sci-fi story. Stuck between the mystic and mundane, the protagonist has to find herself and rush against time to save her people. The events that quickly unfold after her nightmares also have Skye questioning her heart and reality. This is a quick read that will capture your attention in the first few pages. Since the author keeping on going from one reality to another, this at first doesn’t feel like a dystopian story. Mancusi’s writing is phenomenal, and it is amazing how she keeps everything in this story fresh and interesting all the way to the end.

Cocktails in Camelot is the first book in the Timeless Love series. The book stars Katherine Jones, or Kat as she is known to her friends. Kat is not your regular damsel in distress. The young lady is an outspoken fashion editor with a lot on her plate. She has to sniff trends from all the hype, a job she is happy to do all day. However, a work assignment at a mediaeval fair sends her back in time to King Arthur’s court time. Kat will soon discover that she needs all the knowledge she has accumulated in the 21st century to help her navigate this new world. The people she comes to love also need her help, and while it will not be easy to save them, Kat is willing to give it a try.

Aside from the magic in Kat’s new world, there is an evil prince on her case not to mention that mistaken identity situation. Kat has to figure out a way of making everything right without ruining her fashionable clothes or changing history. The good thing is that she has a knight in shining armour to help her. Lancelot du Lac is always on Kat’s side, and the handsome champion is every definition of a perfect gentleman. He offers to help Kat out, but she is a bit hesitant to accept it. Shouldn’t this handsome man be paying attention to Queen Guenevere?

Follow Kat as she tries to navigate this new world and find her way back home. Can she stay out of trouble and get back to her normal life without rewriting history?
