He is also inspired from a few thriller movies like Fatal Attraction, Rosemary’s Baby, and Single White Female. Author Mark loves to hear from his fans and likes to contact them through the social networking sites. In his psychological thrillers, Mark likes to depict scary things happening to ordinary people. So far, the book has sold more than 300,000 printed copies all over the world. Author Mark followed this bestselling book with a few other solo successes. One such book, Because She Love Me, also became a bestseller in UK. In order to write some of his books, author Mark collaborated with Louise Voss. She is also a reputed author like him, having interests in penning psychological thriller novels. Other than a few single novels, both the authors have also worked together to develop a mystery series that features DI Patrick Lennon in the role of the chief protagonist. Author Mark was born in Turnbridge Wells, UK, and spent his initial days growing up near England’s south coast. He took up writing as a career when he was in his early 20s. Before he started writing, Mark used to do several odd jobs to make ends meet. Whenever he used to get any free time from his work, he used to pick up the pen and write whatever stories came to his head. After some time, he moved to Tokyo and lived there for one year. After returning back to the UK from his Tokyo tour, he began making a career in the field of marketing. However, when Mark found his true interest in writing, he gave up everything else and started writing as a full time author. The initial success in his career helped him to continue with this career and also boosted his confidence, thereby motivating him to write many more thriller stories in the future. As of today, author Mark resides in West Midlands, England.

Author Mark is happily married and is blessed with three children. He stays with his family and tries to spend some relaxing time with them whenever he gets some free time from his schedule. Author Mark has a particular interest in pet animals. He has kept a ginger cat in his house and calls it Billie. The name is taken from a female character in the Hollywood movie Doctor Who. Author Mark wishes that if he had some more time in the day, he would love to do karaoke, an activity he is fond of the most. Mark believes that the experiences that he had while working in various jobs before writing has helped him to grow as a responsible person and take like seriously. It has also helped his writing greatly.

An initial book written by Mark Edwards is entitled ‘The Magpies’. It was released by the Creatspace publication in the year 2013. The primary characters described in this book include Kirsty and Jamie. At the start of the story, it is depicted that Jamie and Kirsty start living in their newly bought home and seem to be fully optimistic. They begin to think about the bright future when they will get married and begin their happy family. They find that their neighbors and the building’s other residents are also very friendly. The residents include an herbalist, a horror writer, and Newtons, a happily married couple like them. Jamie & Kirsty are welcomed by the Newtons into their new neighborhood. Initially, everything seems fine. But then, strange things begin to happen. They come across dead rats outside their door. During the nights, disturbing noises are heard by the new couple. Soon, Jamie comes to know that his best friend has injured himself badly in a terrible accident. After this, Kirsty & Jamie feel that they are targeted by a terror campaign. And when things begin to go out of hands, Jamie decides to put up a fight. However, he does not have even the slightest idea about what he is facing. Overall, the book appears to be a terrifying thriller novel. Author Mark has mentioned that such a nightmare could happen in anyone’s life. Therefore, one must remain alert and careful about his or her neighbors and their activities.

Another intriguing book written by author Mark, that he wrote in collaboration with author Louise Voss is called ‘Killing Cupid’. This book was released as a Kindle book in 2011. The central characters mentioned in the story include Alex Parkinson and Siobhan McGowan. At the beginning of the book’s story, it is shown that Alex Parkinson enrolls himself for a class of creative writing under a tutor named Siobhan McGowan. After spending some time with his beautiful tutor, Alex begins to think that they are meant to live together for the rest of their lives. Just to be with Siobhan, Alex will go to any lengths and will take up any step without thinking of the outcome. He indulges in buying lingerie and designer clothes for her and pays from his credit card. He even breaks into Siobhan’s house and reads her diary. Alex also threatens Siobhan’s former boyfriend and sees him plummet from the top of a roof. But, when he feels that nothing is going his way, Alex decides to leave everything and find solace somewhere else. When Siobhan learns about this, she thinks of taking a revenge as she believes that he cannot just stalk her and then back off depending on his mood. Siobhan does not want Alex to lose interest in her. Later, the paths of Siobhan McGowan and Alex Parkinson collide as their lives unravel. They seem to be on the verge of destroying themselves and the ones around them.
