Marley Valentine is a USA bestselling writer and a former social worker who applies her experience to create real-life emotional contemporary romance. She blends both male and female romance in lust and love as the characters begin a journey to HEA. Valentine is busy reading a book from one of her favorite writers when not writing.

Without You
The novel is about two men on a journey to find the healing power of love after loss in a way that seemed impossible to them. Deacon Sutton was raised in Billings, Montana, and he didn’t feel like he perfectly fit in his family standards. He later relocated to Seattle, Washington, to start a mechanic’s shop while looking for happiness far from his family.

Rhett, Deacon’s young brother, fought cancer for many years. Julian, the love of his life, lived next door and had been accepted as one of the family members. When cancer killed Rhett, the family further got torn apart. Deacon chose to stay away from the family while Julian’s heart was left broken forever.
A year has passed since Rhett’s death, and Julian feels he no longer exists. He works at a night bar and still lives in the same house he stayed with Rhett. He exists day in and day out and has found it hard to move on. Rhett’s family has suggested a get-together on the first anniversary of his death. This will mean that Julian will see Deacon, who always seemed not to like him for some reasons well known to him.

Deacon is planning to make amends with his family during the stay during the anniversary. However, he didn’t expect to feel the need to be close to Julian. What’s more surprising is that Deacon has never been attracted to any man in his life, so when he feels strange when Julian is around, he can’t understand why. But he comes to realize that he feels good and at peace when near him.

Julian’s and Deacon’s healing journey is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time as they process guilt past pain while trying to move on. Deacon had a loving family but never felt the love they gave him. He stayed in Seattle for years, far from people he felt judged him at any chance they got. It’s so inspiring how everything changes and gains interest to get to know Julian better in the wake of his brother.

Julian’s life wasn’t smooth, having grown in a foster home, watched his lover fight cancer, and finally died, leaving all by himself. After years of resentment, when Deacons asks to spend time with him, Julian feels unsettled and doesn’t know what to say. Deacon disliked Julian because of jealousy since he got all the attention from his brother Rhett and became their mother’s main focus.

Seeing the heartbroken Julian, something forces Deacon to comfort him and offers him the friendship he has never given before. As the two start bonding, their attraction towards each other keeps growing until they can’t hide it anymore. How comes Deacon is attracted to Julian? Wasn’t he straight? Deacon has always been straight, but now he has started to feel protective and possessive about Julian. However, they feel guilt and sadness because of who Rhett was to both of them.

Can Deacon be able to stand up for what he wants? Will Deacon trust Julian with his heart, and can Julian reciprocate? Most importantly, how will everyone feel about it? It’s amazing that Deacon embraces his feelings for Julian and lets his instincts take the lead.

It’s a story about finding love somewhere where one never imagined. Deacon and Julian have never been fond of each other, but a tragedy brings them together. The sexual tension between Julian and Deacon is steamy. The story is told from two points of view, alternating between Julian and Deacon.

Gael and Jordan have been close friends since childhood. Jordan became a member of Gale’s family after he was thrown out of his home by his parents after realizing that he was Gay. Gael’s parents took him and treated him like their own son. The pair form a special bond between themselves. Jordan has been hiding his feeling for Gale for many years, but Gael is dating a woman. He thought the feeling was reciprocal because he felt their first kiss was real, but he doubted Gael and thought he used him as a sexual experiment.

Falling in love with your best friend can be challenging, but falling for your best friend, who is almost marrying someone else. Jordan organizes a bachelor party for Gael in Vegas as he tries to hide his feelings. Gael takes some time to do soul searching before he chooses to marry the wrong partner since everyone around them can see how their feelings appear to be more than friendship, but they don’t realize it.

Gael has always been dating his fiancée and is getting married soon. Elena has always been beautiful both inwards and outwards, and she loved Gael unconditionally. She realized that something was off with him but did not discuss it.

After ten years of crushing on Gael, Jordan felt so bad when he received the news that he had proposed to Elena. Now that he can’t change his decision, all he wants is to spend time with him at his bachelor party before letting him go and live with Elena forever.

Everything got mixed up when they went to the party. Both are giving what they craved for when they were teenagers is how everything kicked off. However, Elena was popping up in Gael’s mind while feeling the guilty stuck in his chest. He has no idea he will face Elena since everything seems a total mess.
A part of him felt strong after knowing that his lover got his back now that both were responsible. It never mattered to him how right it felt, and they knew too well that they were playing with a fire below them. Things were unfolding so quickly, and when Gaels got an accident while in Vegas, the memory of him and Jordan falling in love with each other disappeared from his mind.

Will Gael remember anything they had with Jordan, or will he marry Elena?
