However, Quarry is unhappy with the drug killings and he parts ways with his broker and takes another broker job. In his second job, he is hired by a homosexual killer by the name Boyd.

Majorly, in this book, max Collins concentrates in showing us all sorts of unpleasant killings and assassinations. The most astonishing part of the story is that Quarry takes other human beings as foolish people who otherwise don’t deserve to live. This is contrary to what we should expect of him. A man of his profession should not be like him.

In the second book in the series, The Broker’s Wife which is later named the Quarry’s list, we come across a fast and furious professional of an intruder which happens in the Quarry’s home. This happens a few months after the life of the broker was brought to an end. Quarry kills the first man to wake him up in the middle of the night and waits for the second one to come in. The back-up man who wants to get the information is grilled by the Quarry a thing which leads him to a one on one confrontation with the broker’s lawyer; Curtis Brooks and Ash. And who is Ash? This is a man which had partnered with Quarry when he started working for the Broker in the early stages.

Quarry is a cleaver man and he never throws caution to the winds. Collins tells us that he never forgets; especially someone who wants to kill him. Quarry is also keen to track down all the people involved in killing the broker and those who want to take over the broker’s business. He is keen to know why Ash stepped into the void that was left by the late Broker. Is it that Ash was behind the death of his Broker? Is it that he wants to take over the business completely? These are the questions that detective Quarry wants to get their answers. He is very keen to ensure that he knows the trick played Ash to ensure that he is not blackmailed.

This famous series features the life of Max Guevara who is escaped from the covert government’s military facility. She is a super soldier. This series is filmed in Vancouver in the Lions gate. The first season was usually haired on Tuesdays in the United States of America.
