Maxine Morrey is a bestselling author of romance fiction who made her debut with the publishing of “No Place Like Home” in 2011.

She has been writing in some form or other for the longest time and when she was young, she remembers devouring books like they were going out of fashion.

As such, moving to create her own stories was a natural progression as for the longest time she dreamed of becoming an author. However, she has always been shy and never thought that she would one day have the confidence to engage in such pursuits.
Maxine continued writing as she grew older, and while she got an agent at some point, life went on and nothing happened, Over the years, she continued working on some manuscripts and sold some of her articles.
In 2006, she was the winner of America’s New Voices competition but the recession took out her publisher before they could publish her novel.

In 2015, she decided that her new strategy would be to get into as many competitions as she could find. In the very first competition she entered, she made the longlist which boosted her confidence.
Soon enough, she got a call from HarperCollins telling her that her manuscript which would become “Winter Fairytale” her debut novel had won the “Write Christmas” competition.

Her debut novel took her less than a month to write, which was way shorter than what she now takes to write her novels.

When she won the “Write Christmas” competition for her manuscript, she had only penned the first three chapters. However, the publishers at Harlequin told her that they would be needing the full manuscript by the end of the month.
Like most people would, she readily agreed to get it to them within the month and got down to work. Working like mad, she was finally able to complete the writing and ultimately had the novel published in 2015.

For Maxine Morrey, success is now all about being able to do what she loves, being healthy and happy, and making a decent living from her craft.

Going further than that, she also dreams of one day having some of her novels made into smash box office hits. In fact, she has already chosen some of the actors that she owls love to act as the lead in her novels if that day comes around.
Outside those lofty dreams, she is all about producing novels that people love, building her readership, and earning decent money from her endeavors.

Morrey currently makes her home on the southern coast of England, from where she pens her blockbuster works of fiction. When she is not writing her novels, she can usually be found sewing, reading, and listening to podcasts.
She also makes a point of taking the time to head to the gym a few times every week or failing that, take a walk around the neighborhood just to get some physical activity.

Maxine Morrey’s novel “Just Say Yes” is the story of Madeleine, a wedding planner who makes her home in a picture-perfect country village in England in a picture-perfect thatched cottage.

The complication is that she has a leaking roof and not enough money, even though dream cottages require a lot of work. She believes that all she needs to solve all her problems is to land a big wedding that she can plan.
Madeleine is over the moon when she is hired to plan the wedding of Peyton, a heiress from California who is to be married to Patrick an all-round good guy.

She is also delighted to learn that she will be working with Lorcan the handsome, dark, tall, and maddening best man.

The wedding is to be conducted in rural Ireland in an ancient castle and Lorcan and Maddie need to head there. In recent times, Maddie has not had it easy but this presents an opportunity to find her refuge in work.
But it is not long before the humor and warmth of Lorcan’s family out in rural Ireland begin to chip away at her walls. As the wedding day comes closer, she realizes that it might be time to focus more on her own life and less on her client’s love life.
It is an utterly uplifting feel-good love story that has been compared to the likes of novels by Sophie Kinsella and Mhairi McFarlane.

“Living Your Best Life” by Maxine Morrey is another intriguing novel that tells the story of a woman named Bee. Most days, she feels like she cannot have had a better life while some days, she feels invisible.

She lives in a quaint London flat, has a job she is very proficient at, and a group of very loyal friends but oftentimes, she feels that she has no one who cares about her.

On the other hand is Luca Donato her best friend who is a successful and unfeasibly handsome man who seems to be one of the most popular people around. People practically fall over themselves whenever they see him.

However, just like Bee, he is yet to find the one and still remains single despite his popularity. When Tia their friend challenges them to get out there through online dating, Bee and Luca set about the endeavor but with varying levels of enthusiasm.
Most people believe that you have to kiss a lot of frogs before finding the prince but Bee is ready to admit defeat. On his part, Luca has too many love interests while Bee continues to search for the perfect partner.

Maxine Morrey’s novel “You Only Live Once” is the story of Lily who moves to a tiny village when her husband dies.

She settles into a life of solitude with only her brother and his family and the company she has. A quiet life significantly reduces the risk of getting hurt and becomes some type of safe space.

When her sibling offers Jack his best friend a room she believes ought to be hers by right, she cannot help[ but agree given that she owes her family a lot.

It takes a while for her to get used to the new lodger but she is surprised when she starts enjoying his company. Slowly, Jack has been encouraging her to get out of her comfort zone.

Nonetheless, there are consequences to taking risks and she is not ready to pour out her feelings to people as she fears it could mean losing them. But she thinks this may be her only chance at second chances in love.
