May McGoldrick is the pen name of two authors, Nikoo and Jim McGoldrick. These two authors, wrote their very first romance novel using the historical figures that Jim had researched on while working on his Ph. D. On the other hand, Nikoo McGoldrick is a qualified mechanical engineer who from the word go is a natural storyteller. Nikoo is all about the feeling and the characters while Jim is about the sense of place and the action. Working together, they have managed to create more than thirty, first paced contemporary and conflicted history novels and also two nonfiction works under the pennames Jan Coffey and May McGoldrick.

The stories created by these two authors have touched millions of hearts and minds of followers and readers throughout the world. The work that they have completed has been translated into more than 12 languages. Due to their success, they have been invited to various local and national television. Angel of the Skye

This is the first installment in the MacPherson Family Saga Series by May McGoldrick. It is not only well written but it also has a dynamic plot and also an exceedingly amazing cast. Apart from the romance, there is also a sub-plot which dominates the story; the unsolved murder mystery of Fiona’s mother. Also the sub-plot also revolves around the unidentified infidel who has been plotting for Fiona’s demise. In this book, we first meet a five year old Fiona who is extremely happy and has been eagerly anticipating her father’s arrival. However, before her father arrives, a group of men invade into their home, kill Fiona’s mother. They also end up taking Fiona with them.

Fourteen years after the incidence, Fiona resides in a Priory. Fiona has no memory whatsoever of the past. Alec is appointed as the Proprietor of the isle. Laird and Fiona had first met in suspicious circumstances. From the word go, there is an immediate attraction between the two. Alec is deeply attracted to a mysterious beauty who is neither a nun nor a leaper. As these two spend more time together, their attraction not only develops but also strengthens. The romance between the two is something to read about. Alec is not only caring but also exceedingly tender with Fiona, thus making it a delight to read.

When Fiona is eventually attacked, the trauma caused by the attacker induces her and her long lost memories begin to appear. It does not take so long before the identity of her father is revealed. Furthermore, it is also evident that there are individuals who are willing to go extra miles so as to dispense Fiona. Alec is more than determined to ensure that Fiona is protected at all costs, even as he tries to fight against the feelings that he has for her. Fiona is just as strong as Alec is. However, Fiona refuses to allow Alec to retreat from their newly forming relationship. With that said, this is a thoroughly engaging story, which makes a compelling read. This is book is highly recommended for any person who is looking for a measure of intrigue together with romance.

Heart of Gold

This is the second book in Mcpherson clan series. This book takes readers to the wild shores of Scotland and also to the bloody fields of France. This installment follows the story of a family’s fight for independence against the King of Tudor. The author introduces the reader to one Elizabeth Boleyn, who has been instructed by a a lecherous king to yield her most prized asset, her innocence. Currently, during the tournament of the kings, her outstanding beauty has attracted so many people including the King himself and an exceedingly handsome Scottish warrior, Ambrose. Ambrose is excessively attracted to the English Diplomat’s daughter.

Due to the fact that even the king is pursuing her, she becomes a much greater price and in the process engulfing Ambrose soul with fury and fire. However, after an act of treachery which could overthrow the kingdom, Elizabeth disappears into thin air. Ambrose truly understands that fate is not going to allow him to rest until he eventually finds the woman that he truly loves. Being the second book in this series, it is safe to say that this series keeps on getting much better and better. You will undoubtedly enjoy both the characters in this story and the plot. All the authors in this book did an exceedingly great job by weaving historical facts with romance in the story.

Elizabeth’s character is something to relish. Her braver and integrity are exceptional. It is safe to say, that Elizabeth found her true match in Ambrose. Their passion and love story is not only sweet but also passionate at the same time. This is truly a great bread that will keep you entertained from the first page to the last.

The Intended

The intended is the fourth book in this series. In this installment we are introduced to James Mcphereson. James has always been in love with Malcolm from the word go. On the day he got married, Jamie ran away from England and in the process leaving behind shattered memories and dreams. One year later, she meets up with Malcolm, who has been captured by Edward, son to the Duke. Placing her hurt aside, Jamie, comes up with a plan that will assist Malcolm escape. Malcolm had gotten married because of convenience, so that he could assist his clan. However, immediately after the wedding, the wife dies. Eventually, Malcolm realizes his mistake; he wouldn’t have left Jamie to go.

Malcolm eventually embarks on a journey with the aim of locating Jamie. However, he had not expected to locate her this soon. Winning Jamie once more is not going to be an easy task since Edward was more than determined to make Jamie his wife. With that said, The Intended is a truly heartwarming and heart wrenching story.
