About Meg Xuemei X

An interesting writer with much to say, Meg Xuemei X is an American author who has been making an impression for some time now. A bestselling writer, she’s hugely popular around the world, reaching a vast amount of people worldwide, with her unique approach to genre fiction. Largely focusing on fantasy and paranormal novels, she takes a look at romance novels too, really turning the tropes on their head in the process. Writing for both young and old readers, she knows her audience well, really taking them on a journey with her work and stories.

Creating vast and expansive worlds, many of her stories are huge in both terms of scope and scale, establishing a whole universe for the reader. Immersing them in it, Meg essentially allows the reader to explore it for themselves, finding their own way through her stories. This approach has proven to be hugely successful for her, as she’s become a household name for many, both nationally and internationally. She also usually has a strong message at the heart of each of her books too, as she always manages to say something profound through her work.

Many of her characters are also something to be admired too, as it’s who they are and how they resonate with readers that’s truly striking. Becoming personalities that readers feel like they really get to know over the course of the books and the many series, they definitely make an impact. Her heroes are typically strong and passionate, really standing out from the page, and making a proper lasting impression on the audience. There is a lot more to come in the future too, as her career as a writer carries on growing with every single passing day.

Early and Personal Life

Growing up with a keen passion for both reading as well as writing, Meg Xuemei X would always be interested in literature. Developing this throughout the years, she would come to refine and hone her many talents as a future bestselling author to be. Continuing to focus on genre fiction mainly, she would proceed to discover her voice within this particular field, carving out a niche that was distinctly her own.

Drawing heavily from the world around her, she would continually seek inspiration, using it to shape her many stories and fiction. Constantly on the lookout for new and exciting ideas, she would always be searching for the next big idea to help her. Currently still writing to this very day, she definitely has a lot more to come yet, as she will carry on creating for many years to come.

Writing Career

In 2014 Meg Xuemei X would write and publish her first novel, which was a stand-alone Young Adult romance called ‘Love’s Prey.’ Although it was her only stand-alone, it was a sign of things to come, with its compellingly told story with fantastical elements to it. Moving on to paranormal romance titles, she would later begin her much loved ‘Laments of Angels and Dark Chemistry’ series, starting in 2014 with ‘The Siren.’

Other series that she would go on to write were titled ‘Empress of Mysth,’ ‘True Mate,’ ‘Wickedest Witch,’ and ‘First Witch’ to name just a few. Many of these would be fantasy novels, and they would be epic in their sense of scope and scale, really taking the genre to bold new heights. Reaching the top of the USA Today bestseller list, she gained a huge following both online and off, with plenty more planned on the horizon.

The Red Queen

Originally arriving through the ‘Silver Wheel Publishing’ imprint, this would be the third in the ‘Laments of Angels and Dark Chemistry’ series. Published on the 8th of November in 2015, this would be an early novel from the Meg, setting up much of her career to follow. It also paved the way for the fourth book, ‘The Immortals,’ which was to be published later on, finishing the series.

Drifting between sanity and insanity, Forbidden Glory has just brought back Lucienne from the brink of death. Now Prince Vladimir and Ashburn must set aside their differences in order to save, all whilst one must make a sacrifice. The Nation of Sphinxes is then born, and the Sealers will rise up once more, with a multinational army arriving at the door of the Sphinx’s with an almighty weapon. Will they succeed in their quest, can sanity return once more, and what, exactly, will become of the Red Queen?

A fantasy story, it’s best that these are all read in order, as there’s a lot of continuing arcs from before, as well as plenty of world-building. The characters themselves are all well developed throughout, as it makes the most of the premise, continuing the narrative with due care. It’s an exciting story, as well as being entertaining and fun to read on many levels, really pushing concept forwards.

Blood Fae

First brought out on the Kindle back in 2021, this would initially come out on the 14th of March to already eagerly awaiting audience. This book would be the fourth and final novel in the ‘Dark Fae Kings’ series of books, finishing off the franchise completely with its epic conclusion. Wrapping everything up, it provides the epic climax to the fantasy series, so it’s best that all the books are read in order.

The Fae Kings now belong to the usurper queen, as they are bound by black magic, holding them there with their memories passing. Whilst the Winter King has his memories still, he’s now fully embraced the dark side, so a plan is hatched to lure them into Hell’s inferno. This set of events will lead to finishing what was begun in the Wild Hunt, with them hunting down their mate to the final bitter end. Will they all finally be free at the end, can the intricate plan really work, and what will, finally, become of the Blood Fae?

This makes for the perfect end to an epic series of books, closing of the arc once and for all with both style and panache. It’s definitely exciting, with characters such as Evie really making their way in this world, finding what they were looking for all along. With a tense and thrilling climax, there’s definitely a lot of passion with many adult themes and scenes, as it really works on a number of different levels.
