Melissa Baldwin is a cozy mystery and romance fiction novelist who has become one of the most popular voices in the two genres.

Growing up, she always loved writing and hence she took a communications degree when she went to the University of Central Florida.

An avid journal keeper, she had been jotting down ideas that came to her over many years. Melissa published her debut work “An Event to Remember…or Forget” in 2014 and has never looked back since.

Baldwin has now published at least two dozen works of fiction across several series and single standing novels. She has since become a best-selling author and award-winning author who writes novels featuring ambitious, charming women.

When Melissa Baldwin was in college, she began penning a novel that documented her experiences with dating. But she quickly tossed that manuscript as she soon realized that hardly anyone was interested in reading about her personal dating experiences.
But it all came together after she struggled with secondary infertility over several years. She believed that if she was to get her mind off the pain of her infertility, she needed to shift her focus to something that she loved.

The good thing was that by this time, her daughter was in school and she did not have a job and hence had all the time to write. In 2014, she finally had the drive and inspiration to complete her first novel and did it just to get it out of her bucket list.
Now a bestselling novelist on USA Today, she also published her books in audiobook, paperback, and ebook formats. Over the years, she has met authors and readers from across the world, which she says has been an amazing experience.

While she never expected to become a successful author when she started, she is now beyond grateful that she gets to work on the thing she loves best doing.

Outside of her writing endeavors, she is a Disney fan who loves to watch reruns of “General Hospital” and “Beverly Hills 90210.”

Melissa Baldwin currently makes her home in Orlando Florida where she lives with her husband and kids.

When she is not writing her bestselling novels, she can usually be found going to Disney World for rides, spending time with family, attempting yoga poses, traveling, and chauffeuring her daughter.
She has often said that the most rewarding thing about being an author is that she gets to bring joy to her fans and readers.

Melissa Baldwin’s novel “An Event to Remember…or Forget” tells the story of Sienna, a woman who loves her job but hates the boss and how he treats her.

She has two minds about leaving her job until things change when Carrie her bass shows her true face.

Meanwhile, Luke her boyfriend is a man dealing with unresolved issues within himself and with people in the past. He is a weak man who is afraid of achievement and failure, which leads him toward needing to control others and lies.
They have become distant since they lead very busy lives. Things get interesting when a man named Ace who had stolen something from Luke turns up and becomes friends with Sienna, and it seems like they could take things to the next level.
Ultimately, they decide to shelve their attraction, as Ace respects Sienna’s relationships and tells her they can only be friends and business partners.

But then during the biggest moment of her career, Carrie realizes that Luke has never been there for her and has been cheating on her.

Being the strong person that she is, she realizes that she needs to find peace within herself and become happy all on her own.

It is an interesting work with some fun sarcasm and snarkiness that will bring a smile to your face, as you follow along and Sienna learns what she wants and how to be true to herself.

“Wedding Haters” by Melissa Baldwin is a fascinating work of romance that tells the story of Cole and Madison.

The latter is happily engaged to professional comedian Cole and she could not have been happier with her life. In addition to a very loving fiance, she also had some good friends who would do anything to help with the wedding.

But then things start going sideways when her grandma asserts that Stephy and Ellie her two cousins have to be invited to the wedding. They are the Anastasia and Drisella of the Cinderella story and just thinking of having them at her wedding freaks Madie out.
She is certain that if the two evil sisters are allowed to attend her wedding, they will turn it into a nightmare of the century. How will a hairstylist slash cookie designer and budding personality deal with some very mean cousins?
It is a light-hearted and fun read as it combines romance, family drama, humor, and a touch of mystery to keep you laughing and engaged the entire time.

Anyone who has ever planned a wedding or just needs to learn the ins and outs of doing it will relate to the craziness.

The best-laid plans frequently go haywire at the most unexpected times leading to some interesting turns and twists.

Melissa Baldwin’s “Not Quite Sheer Happiness” sees Sienna back and now she feels as if she could not have been doing any better, particularly on the business front.

“Sheer Happiness Events” her company has been having a good run, even if she is a mess on the personal front.

However, the success that she has had has brought with it a lot of pressure too. Her professional life is going well despite some challenges from time to time, even as her relationship with Ace Eckelund is finally starting to show some green shoots.
Her friendships are once again getting tested and things get even worse when her past comes back to interfere with the present. She begins to question everything and wonders if she should live on the edge for once or get rid of her desire for certainty.
It is a captivating work that makes for a perfect final installment in the series.
