Mesu Andrews is an American published author of fiction. She is most well known for writing stories with religious themes.

Andrews grew up with a Christian heritage although her family members did belong to different churches. Her grandparents attended a few different places of worship and her father identified as a Quaker. She says that a lot of family discussions involved God as the main topic and their family very involved in being religious.

The author says that as a teenager, she was pretty rebellious. At first she recounted that she rejected God, but then says that she discovered Jesus as a way to transform the life through the Savior because of an old friend who had their life changed as a result of Christianity and accepting Jesus into their life.

With a newly discovered commitment to this path, she says that she had an expanded desire to explore God’s Word. Even though she was more interested in her religion and spirituality than ever, Mesu says that the time she had free to put towards devotion was not that much since she was a young wife as well as mother and plenty demanding her energy, time, and attention.

Even though she did not have a ton of free time, Mesu was still interested and would spend time looking at the theology books she had on hand. These were two books, the Bible and bible stories for children. She read stories to her children at night and the stories she would tell her daughter would then lead her to studying Bible passages.

Mesu recounts that she became a student of the word of God, and would search cultural and historical settings and ancient texts in their original languages to attempt to find the truest form of that word. She is married to Roy, her husband, and they have two daughters and many grandchildren. They also read those Bible stories to their grandchildren.

Mesu says that her spirituality has never gone away and now she is inspired to write novels in the biblical genre that pass on spiritual insight gleaned from historical research. She has since written several books and series.

Mesu Andrews is the creator and author of the Treasure of His Love series. This fictional series of novels started in 2011 with the release of her first full length book. Love Amid the Ashes ended up winning awards, including one from ECPA in 2012. The novels that came after have also earned her some praise. There are four books in this series.

Love Amid the Ashes is the first novel in Andrews’ Treasure series. If you are a fan of contemporary fictional texts inspired by the Bible, then this might be a book that you want to check out. Perfect for the person who is always going to church or loves anything involving God’s Word.

When it comes to the character of Job, what was he like? If you have read about this figure in the Bible, then you may picture him as sitting on a heap of ashes, lamenting the fact that his life has fallen into utter shambles. This author goes into the proposed circumstances of this character and what he may have been like in real life.

Andrews wishes to explore how Job came to be in such a low place in his life in the first place. She wonders what Job’s life was actually like before he was struck by such tragedy and what he thought about it all as he witnesses his life coming down and crashing and burning around him.

The author also explores the concept of what Job’s life must have been like after God was able to bring back his health, his wealth, and his family to him? What a difference that must have been and what a blessing!

Mesu brings a character well known from the Bible to life in this creative work that combines real research as well as the imaginative mind. The result is an interesting and emotional recounting of a story that has been known to many for some time, told through the point of view of the women that loved Job.

Pick up a copy of this book to find out Job’s account as well as what Esau’s tribe, Dinah (Jacob’s daughter), and more have to say by picking up a copy of the faith inspired Love Amid the Ashes!

Love’s Sacred Song is the anticipated sequel to the first novel in the Treasure series. If you checked out the first book and loved it, now is your chance to get your hands on the second novel for yourself!

The story opens up focused on King Solomon as a young man. He is standing in his father’s shadow who has already achieved fame. Now he is wavering between bravery and fear, trying to find a love in his life. He wants a pure love that is true to the core and one that will provide him with a partnership that can serve as a cornerstone.

He has no idea that the right woman for him may be out there and closer than he even thinks. Arielah works as a shepherdess, guiding sheep in Shunem, a northern city. She has always thought that she would become Solomon’s wife, ever since that fateful day that she first saw him. Somehow she just knew what was her destiny.

One day, Arielah finds out that her father has made progress on her behalf. He was gotten a promise that Solomon will agree to marry his daughter. She will be his treaty bride, and their union will hopefully serve to bring the kingdom together.

This was all that Arielah ever wanted and now it seems that her dreams are coming to life before her very eyes. She is only a shepherdess, and now she is going to live in a palace, married to royalty. She has no idea if she can live in a harem and have that be her life. Perhaps the king will decide he only wants one woman.

Can he do it or will his heart continue to be divided? Pick up this book and find out!

I bought Potiphar’s wife a year ago. I just now finished reading it. I loved this novel. I’ve read 5 of your other novels and I loved this one the best. I couldn’t put it down. Couldn’t get a thing done at home till I finished it. What took me so long?
