Michael R. Cole is a bestselling novelist who is best known for his science fiction and horror novels. The author was born in Toledo, Ohio but spent much of his childhood in lower Michigan.
When he was still a kid, his father introduced him to many of the favorite creature features of the time.
He would then develop an obsession with mutated and oversized creatures out to feed on humans, and this would result in a desire to come up with his own stories.
As an adult, he still maintained his profound love for monster books and movies in addition to the action genre.
Michael R. Cole published “Creature from the Crevasse,” his debut novel and the first of the “Creature from the Crevasse” series of novels in 2018. Cole now has more than forty works of fiction across several series and single-standing novels to his name.
He is married and together with Angela his wife, they are parents to three sons, Luke, Dayton, and Tommy. When he is not writing his novels, he usually engages in his hobbies of fishing and martial arts.
He sometimes interacts with his fans and readers of his books on his social media profile on Facebook.
“Megalodon: Bloodbath” by Michael R. Cole tells the story of several bizarre occurrences that happen on the Cielo Nublado island.
At the opening of the novel, a dead whale is found on the shore with its body full of enormous bite marks. Meanwhile, jet skiers go missing, a fishing charter disappears, and a yacht is found destroyed by some strange but very powerful impact.
Nico Medrano is the Chief of Police who is on a quest to find answers and this puts him on a collision course with a massive eighty-foot-long creature long believed to have died out.
Merciless and violent, it is coming back and wreaking havoc on the community on the small island. Things get worse for the police chief after he discovers that a vicious criminal gang that had killed two cops in Miami is lurking on the island.
With the body count constantly on the rise, Nico has to battle both the Megalodon and Man, resulting in a massive bloodbath.
“Michael R. Cole’s novel Megalodon: Bloodshed” is set following the events of the debut of the “Deep Sea Predators” series of novels.
Even though the Leviathan nicknamed “Megalodon” which caused so much terror has been killed, it does seem that this is only the beginning of the bloodbath.
The Omega Fury sank to the bottom of the sea and giant predators were brought back to life by the meteor Gota ja; Titan now rules the mid-Atlantic. There are increasing tensions as a massive 120-foot megalodon has been found off the Florida coast.
With megalodon attacks increasing with each passing day, the military establishes a base on Cielo Nublado, one of the islands off the coast.
Nico Medrano is the police chief charged with the evacuation of the residents while Denise Reta his wife helps the military to track down the hyper-violent Kraken and the megalodons.
With pressure from senior officers in the government, the military comes up with an ingenious plan to lure the creatures away.
However, this triggers the wrath of the incredibly powerful, vehement, and intelligent Kraken, who will kill anyone and anything that challenges its claim for the territory.
With the body count on the rise, Nico and Denise will have to come up with a plan to trick a 12-foot megalodon into a fight with the Kraken and hope for the best.
“Electric Eel: Bloodbath” by Michael R. Cole is the third novel of the “Deep Sea Predators” series of novels.
Before the Kraken and before the megalodon, there had been an incident on Maxwell Island. Connected individuals have been quick to call it a local terrorist attack, even though the truth is uglier and more terrifying than anyone could have imagined.
Just before June 30th, the inhabitants of Maxwell Island had been awakened by a thunderous explosion. Getting out to see what is happening they see “Dream Wrecker” the party yacht illuminating the beach as it furiously burns.
It is the first of many bizarre happenings that Chief Silvia Remar who could not be any more experienced is facing.
Things are made worse by the fact that her own staff have been ostracizing her and she is toeing the line between pleasing the business sector, and the island government and trying to get to the truth.
Things only get worse when even more bizarre happenings are reported. A normally docile sperm whale has been acting out, temperatures fall and rise with no explanation, a skier mysteriously goes missing and a jetboat crashes onto the beach.
There have also been strange reports of creatures from the deep sea rising to the surface and Silvia suspects these could be due to the meteor impact by Gota ja’ Titan, which caused several violent earthquakes in the Puerto Rico Trench.
By the time she gets to the truth, it may already be too late.
