He is particularly famous for writing the Arisen series and the D-Boys series. The former is a bestselling series of zombie-apocalypse/horror stories and Fuchs wrote the first eight books of this series in collaboration with author Glynn James. Fuchs is also credited to have penned three prequel novels of the Arisen series. After the collaboration with Glynn James came to an end following the release of the 8th book, Fuchs wrote the next eight novels independently. He has also written the three books of the D-Boys series independently as well as a couple of standalone books, several novellas, and a short story collection.

The D-Boys books are high-tech special-operations novels of military adventure. They are also widely popular. Fuchs’ novels, Pandoras Sisters and The Manuscript, are widely acclaimed existential cyber-thrillers and have been released by Macmillan Books in hardback, e-book, and paperback formats all over the world. These books have also been translated into multiple foreign languages. A number of Fuchs’ books have been number one bestsellers on Amazon in various categories. His Arisen book series has sold more than half a million copies altogether. Even the audiobook editions have generated a revenue of more than $3 million. The audio work for the series has been done by R.C. Bray. Recently, Fuchs has finished working on the TV adaptation of the Arisen series as well as an original screenplay. He is currently working on the development of a pilot script and a couple of new Arisen novels.

In addition to writing novels, Fuchs maintains a blog, where he writes blogs related to topics of his interest. As of today, he resides in London. The Arisen novels have been labeled by the readers as thoroughly engrossing, amazing, intense, complex, exciting, character-driven, phenomenal, and absolutely mesmerizing. Even the critics and fellow writers have praised Fuchs’ work and have given rave reviews to most of his books. Fuchs expresses his gratitude to all the readers who have liked his works and have recommended them to other readers. He is also grateful for the immense support he has received from his fans from all over the globe. A popular novel series penned by author Michael Stephen Fuchs is known as the D-Boys series. It is comprised of just two books, released between 2011 and 2013. This novel is based on the life and work of counter-terrorism operators. Fuchs has depicted them as capable, indispensable, and committed operators. Their skill, intelligence, speed, flexibility, sheer resolve, and ferocity do not have any match in the entire world. The debut book of this series is known as ‘D-Boys’. It was released in 2011 in the e-book format. The central character depicted in this book is Mike Brown. The book opens by mentioning that Mike Brown is sitting in front of a computer splattered with blood. He raided a house filled with terrorists with a bunch of men, who are all dead now and he is the only one alive.

Mike Brown works for the government and does the job of tracking hackers. As his primary job was to sit in front of a computer, he never felt the need to indulge in a gunfight before. In his very first gunfight, the cops ended up dead, while the armed terrorists succeeded in getting away. After this operation, Mike Brown gets drafted into the Delta unit of the Combat Applications Group or the CAG and doesn’t have any idea what he got into until he experiences it first hand. Later, Mike Brown finds out that the members of the Delta unit were not just warriors, but highly dedicated, intelligent, well-trained, and the best in their field of work. Mike proves to be a great help to them because of his excellent computer skills. As the days pass by, he begins to feel accepted due to his unique ability and finds it easy to blend in with the rest of the team.

Together, the team works out a plan, executes it efficiently, and beats the terrorists in their own game. This book is filled with action-packed and adrenaline-junk sequences. Every aspect of the story seems real and believable. The creation of all the characters by Fuchs is also quite appreciable. Overall, the book is an entertaining read and is perfect for all the fans of thriller stories. The success of this book motivated Fuchs to write its successful sequel.

The second volume of this series is named ‘Counter-Assault’. It was published as a Kindle book in 2013. The lead characters mentioned in this book include Eric Rheinhardt and Rod Tucker. Initially, Eric Rheinhardt is introduced as a Sergeant Major the leader of the Alpha team. He is about to retire from his post in the Unit and has secured a desk job for himself at the Pentagon. However, just before his retirement, he faces an enemy from within and experiences a tough time. A ghost seems to have emerged from his past along with his lost love and dredges up a past-due debt and a shameful secret. To make matters worse, he does not have anyone trustworthy enough to help him come out of this troubling situation. Even his old mentor, Rod Tucker, has chosen to side with the messianic Iranian terrorists, providing training to their proxy fighters in Hizbullah and Hamas on a heavy payroll.

Rod Tucker is also helping the terrorists in purchasing fissile material and cyberwar talent from China and assisting to lay the groundwork necessary for Third Temple’s fall, which is Israel’s modern state. As the two legendary operators come face to face in an explosive collision, they lead to the embroilment of the special forces of Israel, CIA paras, Chinese hackers, D-Boys squadrons, Peshmerga fighters of the Kurds, Tier-1 SEAL teams, Revolutionary Guards of Iran, and hyper-skilled jihadis. All these elements indulge in a life & death street fight for their survival. Before the fight comes to an end, the battlespace gets littered with stealth drones, hijacked warships, armed robots, nuclear cruise missile-armed submarine, radiological attacks through rockets, helicopter crashes, betrayals, disasters, vendettas, diversions, assassination attempts, reversals, double-crosses, feints, and unstoppable rampages. This book also provides an entertaining read and is filled with high stakes, adrenaline assault, heavy action, and tactics that keep the readers intrigued until the last page.
