Michele Bardsley is an American author of fiction. She is a bestselling author perhaps most well known for her fictional series called the Broken Heart Vampires series that are set in Broken Heart, Oklahoma, and focuses on the world through the eyes of a vampire mom. There are fourteen books in the series in addition to the Broken Heart: Visitor’s Pass. She also had an omnibus published titled Some Lycan Hat/ Naked Disclosure in 2014.

Michele Bardsley is also the author of the fictional fantasy series, the Wizards of Nevermore, which features two books, Never Again and Now or Never. She is the author of the Pack Rules series which involves werewolves and more in a fantasy genre. She has also penned the Witches Gone Wild books, which deal with witches, shifters, vampires, and zombies. She has also written the Violetta Graves Mystery series, the first book in this series being In Good Spirits and was published in 2017.

Bardsley is also the author of The Dragon Spy, part of the Lone Shifters series. She has also written the Broken Heart Holiday series, which focuses on different holidays. She has also written Tek, a romance novel that is the first of the Intergalactic Dating Agency series. She also wrote Moon Pack Rules, a novel published in 2015.

She has also written for the Double Delights #2, Housewife for Rent/ Husband for Hire, and Hex the Halls omnibus. She has written for the A Mother Scorned collection and contributed to Jewels of the Quill, Treasures of the Heart, and Tales from the Treasure Trove Volume II. She has also written the Sassy Ever After series for Kindle Words, Which includes All About That Sass and Pride Command.

Bardsley lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family and their multitude of pets that include cats, guinea pigs, and a dog named Naomi. They are very happy there and even happier that there are no vampires in sight.

I’m the Vampire, That’s Why is the first book in the Broken Heart Vampires series, also referred to as the Broken Heart, Oklahoma series. It takes place in the fictional city of Broken Heart in Oklahoma, a place where there is the highest rate of divorce as well as single parents in the state.

The main character in this book is named Jessica Matthews. She is also a single parent and a divorced spouse that has been a member of that particular group of single parents ever since her husband left her in order to be with the secretary, who is in her twenties. Then he died in a car accident and left all of the damage he had done behind him for someone else to deal with.

Jess is now alone and handling everything on her own. She’s a single mom that is just trying to provide for her child in a chaotic world. And she also happens to be a vampire, which was something that popped up out of the blue. She was taking out the trash one day and then all of a sudden sucking blood from a hot vampire named Patrick O’Halloran to save her life. Now she is one of the vampires forever.

You can’t say that it doesn’t come without its perks. She’s lost any sign of her stretch marks and she can see better than ever. You could argue that she’s in better shape now than when she was human. However, she can’t sit back until whoever attacked her and caused her life to be in danger. She needs to protect her kids as well, and even though she’s into Patrick and wouldn’t mind feeding on him again, she doesn’t want to become the object of affection for a hundred years. After all, that’s a lot of commitment.

Don’t Talk Back to Your Vampire is the second book in the Broken Heart Vampires series. It was published in 2007. Who says that the undead can’t enjoy a little bit of romance in their off time? In this sequel, the main character is Eva LeRoy. She is a single mother in a town that is rife not only with single moms but plenty of single fathers too. She happens to work as the librarian for the town and takes care of her teenage daughter all on her own. She is used to being a vampire and doesn’t mind the perks of being the living dead as she doesn’t have to age and never gets cellulite or crow’s feet. It’s not all bad being a vampire, Eva thinks. She definitely doesn’t even need cosmetic products to look young anymore!

The librarian may be a vampire, but her love of books has not changed at all. She really loves to crack open a book and so does someone else she knows– Loran the Loner. They are someone who always seems to be on the outside of things. Her mother told her that everyone should be given a second chance.

But the librarian has so much going on with the usual hassles vampires have to deal with. She has to contend with other vamps who are pretty competitive, kids who act up and are adjusting to their new school at night, the new guy that her daughter is dating, and starting to fall for a vampire.
