A British writer, Mina Carter is well known for her fun and engaging paranormal romance novels that have been entertaining readers from around the world. Writing full-time, her work is immersive and compelling in equal measure, providing readers with a real sense of escape into her worlds. Creating highly vivid and evocative prose, her writing draws her audience in and holds them there for the duration of the story. Imaginative and intelligent, each of her stories also has something to say, providing interesting themes and ideas in the process.
Publishing several series over the course of her literary career, she’s ensured that her readers come back for more time and time again. Bringing her novels to life, she knows exactly what she needs from her stories, understanding precisely where to take them and when. This approach to her writing has allowed her to set herself apart from other writers in her field, grounding her in the process. With an audience who are looking for something different, she appeals in a manner that’s fresh, doing something new with the genre.
Another noteworthy facet of Carter’s writing is her skill for creating compelling and lasting characters that really stand out. Staying with the reader long after they’ve finished the novel, she allows her audience to feel like they really know her protagonists. She does this by giving them a real sense of personality and drive, as the reader feels like they fully understand them as people. With so much more to come too, she is definitely a writer to keep watching, as there’s plenty more planned for the future.
Early and Personal Life
Born in the Leicester in the United Kingdom, Mina Carter was raised with a keen passion for all things literature. This interest would develop over time, allowing her to essentially become the writer she is currently known as today. Drawing much of her inspiration from her surrounding environment, she’d constantly be putting it back into her work.
As a cover artist as well, she’s gifted in graphic design, being hugely creative in a whole range of different areas. Spending her time learning new pursuits, from aromatherapy to canoeing and welding, she’s constantly for new and inventive ideas. Living with her husband and their daughter, she lives in Leicestershire where she continues to write and work to this very day.
Writing Career
Starting out back in 2011 with books including ‘Hearts of Stone’ and ‘Blood Sacrifice,’ Mina Carter would fast cement her literary credentials. Creating several series, she would soon go on to publish countless franchises and sagas of her own, with overarching narratives and ideas. All of this would go on to secure her place as one of the leading figures in paranormal romance, as her readers continued coming back for more.
From series such as the ‘Paranormal Protection Agency’ collection of novels, to the ‘Kin’ and ‘Imperial Princes’ series, Carter has proven herself to be a more than versatile writer. Producing work alongside fellow writers including Celia Kyle, she’s published many collections with them as well. Contributing to various series too, she’s also known for writing novellas and stand-alone titles, many of which are also in the same genre.
Alien Paladin’s Redemption
Arriving in 2020 on the 28th of July, this would first come out on the Kindle publishing platform, and was met by an already eager audience. Setting up the thirteenth book in the long-running ‘Warriors of Lathar’ series of novels, this would carry on in the same world as before. Using the same premise as before, this is another stand-alone science-fiction romance with lots action and passion. There are elements for fans of the series to enjoy as well, but this isn’t essential to picking the book up and simply enjoying it in of itself.
After being rescued by aliens, Indra has survived the worst of everything that humanity has had to throw at her. Taken as guest to the Latharian Empire, she’s all set for eating chocolate and spending time aboard their ship with cleaning bots attending to her every whim. That’s when she’s tasked with shadowing the attractive strong alien Nyek S’Vaan to recover an artificial intelligence unit. Will they find each other during their mission, can they overcome their impulses, and what will become of the alien Paladin’s redemption?
It’s another great easy read from Mina Carter, in what is a stand-alone title with no cliffhanger ending to it. The story itself is entertaining, making for the ideal piece of escapism for the reader, with fun characters featured throughout. Its world is also immersive, as it takes the audience on a journey, with plenty of imaginative twists and turns along the way.
Warlock and the Bear
This fantasy paranormal romance novel would be the fourth book in the ongoing ‘Banford and the Beauty Bears’ series. Featuring another story set in the same world as the previous books, it features a bear shifting clan, as each book focuses on a different romance. Initially brought out in 2019 on the 29th of October, this would come out on the Kindle platform, published by Mina Carter herself.
An ex-soldier and warlock, Morgan Jones is hiding the secret of his feelings for Lilly Braun, the head enforcer of the Beauty Clan. Hoping to find a bear male in order to mate with and have cubs, the bear of Lilly Braun is only interested in Morgan Jones. As part of the bear shifting clan, she aims to get close to Morgan, that is until things begin to change between the two of them. Will they find one another, can they overcome the obstacles in their way, and what will become of the warlock and the bear?
Another solid title from Mina Carter, providing plenty of sizzling action and romance, as the two leads work well together. The story itself is well told, making for an engaging and fun story that constantly keeps the reader invested throughout. It’s not essential to read the other books in the series, but there are plenty of enjoyable little elements brought in for returning fans as well.

You have several series (Mercenaries of the Lathar; Lathar Mercenaries; Imperial Princes of Lathar; Latharian Mate Program;I am not sure if you have any others connected to these sets. I can find lists for publication orders, but I can’t find anything that shows (single-line) Chronological order.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could either a) send me a list, and/or b) set up a list online. I like to read books in chronological order, which is not always easy to identify, especially when connected books are list as (sub) series.
Thank you very much. Blessed week, good health, and Blessed 2024.
Sincerely,
Donna M Erwin
