“An American in Duke’s Clothing” is the first novel in the “Unlikely Match” series and was released in 2018. She is bound by loyalty, while he is bound by honor. Do their hearts even stand a chance?

When some unexpected deaths leave Tad Wentworth the heir to an English title, he departs from his American homeland to fulfill his duty. Upon arriving into the country, he learns that an arranged marriage will be a part of the plan. However when his affections guide him toward this different lady, he has to figure out if he’ll follow his head or his heart.

Violet Allen’s rather questionable past has left her with very few friends. When she meets this dashing stranger that shows some interest in her, she allows herself to dream about a future with the guy. Until she learns that this stranger is not just a Duke but is also engaged to her sister. While her feelings for him continue growing, she has to decide if she’ll be loyal to her own heart or her sister?

These characters are well developed and the plot’s got plenty of humor, romance, and drama. The story pulls you right in, and right when you’re about to stop reading and set the book down, something will happen, making you continue reading.

“Reforming the Gambler” is the first novel in the “Scoundrels, Rakes, and Rogues” series and was released in 2019. She has got everything to lose, while he has lost everything. Lord Ian Pinkerton was just enjoying a carefree life up until his brother went and cut him off without a single penny.

After he wins an estate, he believes that his luck could be changing for the better. Until he sees it. Without any funds to repair his rundown estate, Ian just considers leaving Scotland until meeting his gorgeous neighbor. However to his own surprise, it would appear that she detests him.

Catriona Melton, the Baroness of Crannach, has been hiding with her son on some remote Scottish isle. She meets the handsome Lord Ian, she soon decides that she wants nothing at all to do with him. However each and every encounter that they have appears to contradict each of her earlier assumptions. When some old foe threatens to take everything Cat has, Ian steps in and helps her. Cat has to decide if her old assumptions or her heart are going to prevail.

Readers enjoyed seeing how Lord Ian chooses to become a better man and change his character for the better. The journey both he and Cat each take is a fun one to watch, as is the playful nature of these characters. It is a well written and believable novel, with such real and interesting characters that play their parts to a tee.

“Rake on the Run” is the second novel in the “Scoundrels, Rakes, and Rogues” series and was released in 2020. He never expected to get all caught up in the parson’s mousetrap. Least of all by a friend.

Lord Nathaniel Westlake has got a reputation with ladies, however he has always been able to stay two steps ahead of it catching up with him. His most recent narrow escape lands him on this ship which appears to be the perfect solution. But then he learns the ship’s headed for India, and the only available women is a lady that’s already wise to all of his antics. If he should muddle things this time around, there won’t be any escape.

Miss Justina Tinsdale agrees to accompany her uncle and aunt on their journey off to India, the very last person that she expected to find on board would be Lord Nathaniel. The guy appears incapable of remembering her name and his past mistakes, however she does and isn’t so willing to let him off so easily. When they are stuck in one another’s company, she is able to see this side of him society wouldn’t believe and it’s one she never expected. She starts wondering if he could be worthy of her trust after all.

Nathaniel’s determined to let another woman hurt him, as Justina is certain he just wants to add her to the list of his conquests. Are they going to learn to trust their feelings for each other, or could their friendship be destined to break both of their hearts?

“The Mysteries of Hawthorn Hall” is the first novel in the “Hidden Riches” series and was released in 2021. She does not trust him, yet he’s the only one able to save her. Lily-Anne Cole never fit in with the rest of the maids. However when she inherits an estate, she does not fit in with the ton, neither. Matters just get more complicated when this wild-looking man breaks into her house. Luckily, this handsome groom comes to her rescue. At least she believes he is there to rescue her.

Timothy Hastings has made himself over into a successful almost-gentleman by cleaning the messes of the English ton up. When he’s hired to locate a cache of stolen diamonds, it all goes wrong right from the start, and he finds he’s playing groom. He just needs to deceive the mistress of the house just long enough to locate the treasure and get paid.

When his deceit’s uncovered, he wonders if this is going to be the very first time he does not complete an assignment. Compelled to spend even more time together trying locate these elusive diamonds, neither Lily nor Tim is able to deny the pull they feel for one another, even while realizing a connection can never truly be. However when others come searching for this treasure and threaten her safety, they have to decide if they’re better together or apart.
