Katy has always had a passion for telling a story and thanks her mother for this as she made funny stories come to life all the time when she was a child. She has always loved romance writing in all types of time periods from the present day era to the Edwardian times. So it only stands to reason that she would decide to sit down and try to write one of her own love stories. What began as just one story about love quickly evolved into a variety of romance stories in the Heart of Montana series.

Katy’s goal with the book was to deliver romance on the steamy side that her readers would enjoy. She has continued to write novels, including the Modern Fairytale series which debuted with The Vixen and the Vet, which was penned to be part of a fundraiser with the proceeds going towards Operation Mend.

She resides in Connecticut in the wilds of Fairfield County’s northern area. There she has a specific room to write in that gives her a nice view of the woods. Katy is married and she and her husband have children together as well as some dogs! There is always plenty of chaos to go around, but for the author it is nice and reminds her that the messy and sometime unexpected love stories can be the best of all.
