“Pumpkin Spice Scare” is the fourth novel in the “Small Town Cupcake Cozy Mystery” series and was released in the year 2021. Mayhem and mischief target the staff where Charlotte works, everybody becomes a suspect.

After Charlotte stumbles upon her coworker’s corpse, theories about who could be targeting the staff Bill’s Diner take on a life of their own. When secret shames get brought to light, it appears that anybody could be a suspect in the tiny town of Sweetwater Falls.

Charlotte McKay finds a corpse while she caters a Christmas party, and doesn’t know who she’s able to trust. The people that hired her are quick to point the finger in her direction, which only ramps up her need to find out who the real criminal is. However everywhere she turns, there’s some new suspect, and another lie that she has to sift through in order to get to the truth.

Charlotte does not believe that the couple that plays Santa and Mrs. Claus each year at the Christmas festival is even capable of something so dastardly as murder, however Nancy and Nick’s alibi turns up lie after lie. Marianne’s ex-fiance shows up with this problem he cannot solve without her pitching in to help, Charlotte makes it her business and sticks close to Marianne’s side.

With a corpse in his trunk and a bad track record of sidestepping the truth, the case against Jeremy looks rather open and shut. However when the facts do not add up, Charlotte is certain that the sole crime Jeremy is guilty of is breaking Marianne’s heart. Charlotte knows that it’s up to her to prove Jeremy’s innocence before time runs out.

   I’ve keep checking to see if the last 3 books will be out in paperwork. I was really hoping they would. I love this series. Please let me know if they will be released in paperwork. Thank you

     There is a good chance that they will but may be a bit later as paperbacks often are released a bit later on in a books life cycle.
