Author N. R. Walker is from Australia and writes gay romances, a genre she loves. Walker also writes under the name of A. Voyeur. Writing is something she loves doing and spends way too much time doing it, but she wouldn’t have it another way.

She is a writer, a sister, a wife, and a mother. She has some pretty boys who she gives life to with her words. Walker likes when they do some dirty things, but likes it more when they fall in love with each other. She once believed that people talking in her head was a weird thing, until she came across other authors who said that it was a normal thing. Since then, she has been writing regularly.

Walker writes the “Spencer Cohen” series, the “Red Dirt” series, the “Thomas Elkin” series, the “Blind Faith” series, and the “Turning Point” series. She has also written some stand alone work.

“Spencer Cohen, Book One” is the first novel in the “Spencer Cohen” series, which was released in the year 2016. Spencer Cohen is a guy who is able to get answers about relationship questions. He plays the role of new lover, and his job is to make the client’s ex realize one thing: either he does want to break up or he does not. One way or another, his client is able to get answers.

The ex either begs and apologizes, or turn and walk away. At the end of the day, Spencer’s client wins. If the guy walked away, the client got closure, despite how hard it would be for him. Should he want his ex back, and he got him, it was excellent. Whatever the outcome, Spencer’s work is finished.

Andrew Landon’s ex left without any kind of explanation. His sister is unable to see him be so miserable, so she hires Spencer to be Andrew’s next boyfriend to try and get the ex back, much to Andrew’s dismay.

For Spencer, it never gets personal. Only a business transaction. There are no complications, emotions, or strings. Yeah, sure. A blind man would be able to see how all of this would end.

This one captivates with its excellent story and characters, and is an original, well written, and fresh book. N.R. Walker is able to make you completely fall for a couple in one of her books like no other writer. The book flies by, making it tough on the reader to put it down for very long.

“Spencer Cohen, Book Two” is the second novel in the “Spencer Cohen” series, which was released in the year 2016. Andrew Landon and Spencer Cohen are just trying to take things slow after becoming real boyfriends. What they have might grow into something special. Despite the major sexual tension, they do not want things to crash and burn.

Spencer is starting to learn to open up, sharing his past secrets with Andrew. He is afraid to put his heart out there, but seems to be unable to stop it. Spencer is falling in love with him. Andrew is scared of jumping in blindly, but the slower things go, the faster they seem to fall.

They navigate through this new relationship and Spencer worries that Andrew is going to freak when he takes a new client on. It is far from a normal case, and Spencer finds that things are not at all what they appear. Things take a downward turn, and they start to work together to assist the client. Andrew and Spencer have to figure out if they are ready to take that next step.

Some found this one to be a sweet and heartwarming read that was even better than the first book in the series. Spencer is a lovable and funny character that readers cannot get enough of. The characters have issues, but are able to talk through them, not have any tantrums or miscommunication at any times. This had all the steamy parts that readers were hoping to get in the first one.

“Spencer Cohen, Book Three” is the third novel in the “Spencer Cohen” series, which was released in the year 2016. Learning to be in a monogamous relationship has been pretty easy for Spencer. Too easy, really. Andrew has fit right into his life seamlessly. Spencer has let go of his hang-ups and insecurities, and the couple is enjoying where things are going.

For the first time in a long time, Spencer’s life is perfect. Andrew is over thinking things. When Spencer gets a call from Australia, he is sure that Spencer is going to push him away.

Instead of driving a wedge between them, it might solidify what they have already. Spencer could depend on Andrew more than ever before. Maybe Spencer’s story will come full circle and he might just get the happily ever after that he never realized was possible.

“Elements of Retrofit” is the first novel in the “Thomas Elkin” series, which was released in the year 2013. Thomas Elkin (a successful architect in New York) just about has it all. He came out as gay and ended his marriage before he turned forty, it became imperative he start living his life. Four years have gone by, and he has gotten his relationship with his son back where it was, and after a few short romances, he believed he knew it all about life and architecture.

Cooper Jones (only twenty-two years old) is close to taking the architect world by storm. Professional, driven, talented, and all around infuriating, Cooper is the epitome of Generation Y.

Cooper is about to bump Tom’s world off of its axis, as he is about to start an internship with Thomas. Tom can teach Cooper about the industry, but it is Cooper that will teach Tom some things about life.

N.R. Walker writes books that are highly entertaining, easy to read, satisfying, and leave you feeling happy by the end. This book has awesome characters, and are simply excellent with each other. They are made for each other, despite the major gap in their ages.
