Early and Personal Life

Born in Chicago in Illinois, Naleighna Kai would always have a creative streak, something which she nurtured from early on. This she would continue to develop for throughout much of her life, bringing it with her to whatever project she was working on. Moving in to marketing, she would later become the CEO of her own company, helping clients market themselves and their writing.

Over time this would then see her begin to work on her own writing more, promoting her novels, which would soon become bestsellers in their own right. As a literary agent, consultant, and editor herself, she would use her skills to find her own voice and approach to writing. Still living in Chicago to this very day, she continues to maintain a strong profile, writing regularly and speaking at numerous events.

Writing Career

Before Naleighna Kai would even get a book deal, she successfully published to novels herself, starting out in December, 1999. This would lead to her first book, ‘She Touched My Soul,’ being published in 2001, which would see her make a name for herself. Prior to this she would see her short-fiction work published in the collection ‘More Than Enough’ just one year before in 2000.

Running several successful projects, she manages a marketing firm, as well as running events, and speaking publicly. Much of her work is largely stand-alone novels, with her not really focusing on any series, but she often features recurring themes and motifs. With some elements of erotica and suspense infused together, she has mastered her brand, and will continue writing for a long time yet.

Rich Woman’s Fetish

Originally brought out in 2015 on the 27th of April, this would be another stand-alone title from Naleighna Kai. A suspense thriller, it’s a dark and atmospheric novel, with a story that doesn’t waste any time getting straight to the point. Following the central character of Gina Wright, it sees the many hardships she must face throughout the course of her life.

The book itself is hard-hitting, both in terms of themes and ideas, with some tough subject matter for the reader. Dealing with it in a sensitive and tactful manner, though, it really works, not holding back either at any single point. Moving forwards with a real sense of confidence, this is definitely a book that works on multiple different levels, making it a definite must for fans of suspense.

This sees Gina Wright dealing with rich people, as she sells the use of her womb in order to provide surrogate babies to childless couples. Growing up in a background of poverty, she looks to escape her past and pay for her schooling in the process, and this seems to be the easiest way. It’s only when she later discovers, somewhat older, that her youngest biological daughter has been forced into prostitution that she decides to do something about it. Gathering her other daughters all together, they all then head out to rescue their youngest sibling, and save her from a life of crime and drugs.

Slaves of Heaven

This would initially be released in 2019 and it would have elements of both science-fiction and mystery to it in one intriguing combination. Making for a highly entertaining read, it would feature a self-contained narrative that was easy to follow with plenty of action featured throughout. Keeping the reader guessing for every step of the way, it’s a compelling novel that would show Kai as a truly versatile novelist. With something new and exciting taking place on each and every page, it’s difficult to put down, and it really does offer something for everyone, pushing the format to its full potential.

Looking to create a stronger class of women, Gabriel Chamberlain hopes to alleviate the many issues that plague the modern world.
