Nicole Falls is a bestselling romance author who got her start as a fiction author writing novellas.

While she had always loved reading and writing, it took quite a while before she completed her first project. She published “Adore You,” her first fiction work in 2016, and has never looked back since.

Falls now has more than forty titles to her name spread across more than nine series, several novellas, collections of short stories, and contributions to several series.

She is a huge fan of lapel pins and ceramic mugs and cannot in any way function unless her AirPods are blaring music into her ears.

When she is not writing her novels, she can be found drinking cocktails and coffee and spending time with her family, and trolling her friends.

She currently makes her home in a Chicago suburb, where she lives with her husband and children.

For as long as she can remember, Nicole Falls has always had a book in hand ever since she was a kid. Given that readers often have a natural inclination to be writers, she decided to try her hand at writing.

Falls is particularly interested in Black Women’s and Black romance because this is what she cut her teeth on growing up.

Of course, she read the usual “Sweet Valley High” and “Babysitter” novels but really hit her stride when a coworker of her father gifted her with a box full of books.

In the box was “A Valentine’s Kiss,” a collection of short fiction from Felicia Mason, Brenda Jackson, and Carla Fredd.

There was also Eric Jerome’s “Dickey’s Friends and Lovers,” which she probably read a thousand times when she was writing “Underscore,” the coming-to-age novel that she never published.

Since then, she has found other authors but still finds inspiration from the earliest works she came to love.

Even though Nicole Falls had been reading for years, her journey toward becoming a publishing author was not so straightforward.

When she was in high school, all she wanted was to get one of her books published by a major publishing house. By the time she was in college, she told herself that it would never happen, even though she kept writing.

While she wrote articles on her blog and in writing exercises with other aspiring writers, the flame for writing dimmed over the years.

It was in early 2016 while listening to “The Morning After” by Deborah Cox that she had an idea for a short story. She jotted down the idea and a plot outline and began writing a short story that her friend absolutely loved, even though it was not yet complete.

While she was writing, she got more inspiration for more characters and plot lines and she kept writing until she had a novella.

Since one of her friends was making a killing as a self-published author on Kindle, she decided to go that route. She is glad that her gamble paid off and allowed her to achieve her lifelong dream of becoming an author.

Nicole Falls’s novel “Adore You” introduces Devorah and Ellis, who have quite an interesting relationship.

Devorah loves Ellis but is afraid of committing to him given his rakish ways. He has a reputation for treating women like trash and she has no desire to become one of his notches.

Still, they have been sneaking around in secret and began dating for about half a year. Devorah is terrified of their families coming to know of their relationship since Ellis happens to be the brother of her ex.

Everette and Devorah had dated about a decade earlier but their relationship was never sexual. Still, Devorah is afraid that people will judge her for dating both brothers. As such, she insists on her relationship with Ellis remaining a secret.

Ellis and Devora make a perfect combination of push and pull. The fearless Ellis tries not to scare Devorah away, while she is paranoid about her aunts and mouthy mother finding out about them.

“Smitten” by Nicole Falls is an interesting love story that tells the story of a woman who was ghosted and left heartbroken.

Celena had been abandoned by JP and ever since, she has been hesitant of starting a new relationship. She is always paranoid as she fears that another man will break her heart once again.

But after a few dates with Karim, she knows that she is not like her ex and starts giving him the benefit of the doubt. Soon, she is casting her fears aside and letting him treat her as she deserves to be treated.

On his part, Karim had moved back home as his mother was unable to take care of his grandmother all by herself. Between starting a new business and family obligations, he is a busy man who does not have much time for socializing.

When Cadence sets them up on a spontaneous date, things change for both of them making for a fun, romantic, and sexy read.

Nicole Falls’s novel “Then Came You” is the story of Damon Patterson and Patricia Patterson.

Damon is doing well as a pastry chef and is just about to open his first patisserie. When he finally opens, it is a soft open with only media and family invited.

But Patricia Payne did not know it was not open to the public and walked into the patisserie uninvited.
