Noel Hynd is a published author of fiction. This American writer was born in 1956 in the famous locale of New York City, growing up in New England in the states of New York and Connecticut. While he didn’t always necessarily think that he would grow up to be a writer and get paid so much to do it, today he has over five million novels in print, which is an amazing feat.
This best-selling author’s books have mostly fallen into the range of thriller or suspense novels that include elements of espionage and action. Some of his others could fall into the genre of ghost stories. Hynd attended the University of Pennsylvania, from which he graduated. He found love when he met his future wife, Patricia. They were married and now reside together in southern California, placed somewhere between the business of L.A. and the unique city of San Diego.
Hynd has contributed to several national magazines such as Sports Illustrated. He first became an officially published author with the 1975 publication of his first novel of fiction, which was titled Revenge. He followed that up with several other novels, almost too many to count! He has not only written works of fiction but dabbled in nonfiction as well. He released a book in 1988 about polo. Noel Hynd has also put together several screenplays and is the writer of the 1980 full-length film Agency as well as the 1995 movie Illegal in Blue, starring Stacey Dash.
He is the author of the Russian Trilogy. This series has three books in it and kicked off with the publication of the first novel in 2008. Two books quickly followed. The sequel was released the next year and focuses more around Spain and the third book is titled Countdown in Cairo. The trilogy is known for its exotic destinations, fast-paced action, and dangerous situations that the main character gets into. If you’ve never read anything by Hynd before, this series is an excellent place to begin.
The main character in Hynd’s trilogy is named Alexandra LaDuca. She works as a special agent for one of the most sophisticated organizations in the world– the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Alex is well-trained and has many skills that make her god at her job. She happens to be an expert shot and her investigative skills are known for being on point. While she thinks that she is capable of handling any case that comes her way, Alex may be out of luck when it comes to her latest case. With every novel capitalizing on the intrigue and action of the last, you can’t find a better classic action series than this one!
Conspiracy in Kiev is the first book in the espionage and action Russian Trilogy by Noel Hynd. If you love books that are packed with plenty of danger, geographical adventures, and political intrigue, you will be suited for this debut installment. It is in this first novel that readers get the chance to meet Alex LaDuca for the first time.
Alex is an investigator that works for the FBI. She is an expert with a firearm and you certainly don’t want to be a thug running into her in a dark alley. While a lot of women would be too intimidated by the job to take it, Alex is not your ordinary woman. She’s a special agent for the bureau for a reason and has been a valuable resource on many cases.
Now she’s given the task of going along with a team of Secret Service operators on a trip with the American President on the way to Ukraine. Her job is to keep watch over one of the most notorious gangsters in Russia. His name is Yuri Federov. Alex’s mission is to keep her eyes on him personally. The agent doesn’t have a great feeling abut the assignment, but what can she do? It’s her job, and it leaves no space for personal feelings. Even if something is definitely off about this whole assignment.
The mission is going to be more risky than they even anticipated. Alex is going to have to use her gut and do her very best to keep up with her mission. By crossing three continents, the agent will rely on her savvy nature and the skills that have made her so qualified for this position for so long. With any luck, she will succeed. But she may find out more about herself and her line of work along the way than she is ready to handle. What will happen? You must pick up this quick and intense thriller to find out for yourself!
Murder in Madrid is the second exciting book in the popular Russian Trilogy by bestselling author Noel Hynd. The main character of the first installment is back as this fast-paced sequel gets underway. A relic is taken from a museum in Madrid, Spain. Now people are dying, and it seems to be connected.
Alex LaDuca is fresh back from Russia when she is assigned to find the artwork that has been stolen. It is only a small carving, and how hard could it be to find a piece of art? It turns out that it’s a lot harder than you would think at first. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack when the entire world is your haystack.
Alex is an agent for the US Treasury that wants to find out where the art went and complete the assignment. Once she’s done, she can go home. It all seems easy enough, but as the agent is about to discover, nothing about this mission is going to be as simple as one would think– or hope.
The Pieta of Malta must be tracked down– but does this relic really possess the supernatural power that others claim that it does? With the level of mystery around the piece of art growing, the agent is desperate to find it. She’s on a hunt through Europe, relentless in her search for it.
Along the way, she’s going to find that overcoming obstacles is a lot easier when you don’t have a job to do. Can Alex track down the relic and restore all to the way it was with the help of a new partner? If you loved the first book, check out its exciting sequel to find out.
