Starting out back in 2018 with the novel ‘City of the Sleeping Gods,’ Olivia Ash would begin her fantasy writing career. This book would also be the first in her popular ‘Nighthelm Guardian’ trilogy of fantasy novels, really setting the tone for who she was as an author. She would soon go on to produce many other long-running fantasy series, bringing in readers both nationally and internationally.

Marking the fifth title of the long-running ‘Blackbriar Academy’ series of novels, it would be the final title in the overall franchise. Wrapping everything up, it’s best that the series is read in order, as it continues on directly from all of the previous books with many of the same characters.

Tracking one of the shadow mages of The Order, they are attempting to steal the magic growing inside Wren one last time. Looking to transform into the warrior that she was always meant to be, she’s looking to defeat a Blackbriar professor she believed she could once trust. With the final battle to end all battles dawning upon them all, the time is nigh to finally end it all and finish the job. Will she be able to manage it though, is she up to the task, and who will emerge victorious from the Battle of Battle of Blackbriar Academy?

This concludes everything from the series in a fully satisfying manner, really delivering on the premise of the franchise. Bringing all the arcs to a close, it wraps up everything in a conclusive manner, giving the fans everything they could possibly want and more. Featuring plenty of fun twists and turns, it takes the reader on a real journey, really bringing the world to life in the process.

A Legend Among Dragons

Initially released in June 2020, this would come out on the Kindle platform, with it being another fantasy novel from Olivia Ash. Here she finishes off her ‘Dragon Dojo Brotherhood’ series, with it being the eighth and final book in the overall franchise of books. Again it’s best that they’re read in order, as it wraps up all of the loose ends once more, giving her fans a real sense of closure.

Heading towards the final battle to end it all with Kinsley, Rory has grown enormously in confidence, with more aggressively skilled attacks. Now with only one single orb to locate, she’s hoping to bring Ashgrave to his full strength, along with ensuring the protection of all her army. She must control her magic though, if she hopes to even stand a chance in finale battle that lies before all of them. Will she be able to manage it though can she survive this ordeal, and what will finally become of a legend among dragons?

Proving once again that Ash can offer satisfying conclusions to long-running fantasy sagas, this is another exemplary example of her skills as a writer. Offering a strong final book there’s everything here that a fan and follower of the genre could possibly want in a fantasy novel. Pushing the series to its full potential, it definitely delivers once again, allowing the characters and world to come to life for the last time.
