Pamela Yaye is a Canadian author that writes romantic fiction. Pamela has a passion for African-American literature and she believes that her work brings something new to that particular field.

+Biography

Pamela Yaye, like so many authors, was turned onto reading at a very young age. She was fortunate to grow up in a family of readers. Daniel and Gwendolyn Odidison kept plenty of books around the house.

More importantly, they were always pushing the author to read. Where most kids were happy to spend their days playing with their toys, Pamela wasn’t satisfied until she had a book on her lap.

And the highlight of her week was going to the public library. Junior High was a formative time for Pamela Yaye. Not only did she have access to so many books but she also began experimenting with a wider array of genres.

Whether it was a biography or a suspense novel or even a magazine, there was nothing that Pamela Yaye didn’t dip her toes into. And that allowed the author’s imagination and literary skills to develop at a rapid pace.

Writing didn’t come into the picture until Pamela was fourteen. The author had experimented with the habit for a few years. But she wasn’t that confident in her abilities, at least not until her fourteenth year.

That was when she wrote a poem and had it read at her local church. It was the first poem Pamela had ever written and the fact that the audience gave her a standing ovation for it was all the encouragement the author needed to throw herself into writing.

Before long, Pamela Yaye was churning out poems. She even experimented with plays and was quite ecstatic when she saw them come to life on stage. In college, Pamela pursued Christian Education, eventually graduating with a degree.

Life took Pamela to South Korea after that. The experience was transformational. The author fell in love with the country. She was enamored by the culture, the food, and the people, and by the time Pamela Yaye came back home three years later, she had plenty of stories brewing in her head.

Of course, as with most aspiring authors, just because Pamela had plenty of stories to tell doesn’t mean she had the time to put them down on paper.

Life took over and kept Pamela pretty occupied. The author came home with a fiancé and it wasn’t long before they got married and had children. Pamela’s first notable writing experience had come during her teaching stint in South Korea.

She wrote a short story titled ‘Other People’s Business’. She struggled with the encouragement she was getting from other people to turn it into a full-length novel. When she finally dipped back into it and transformed the story into ‘The Trouble with Luv’, she tried and failed to get it published.

After going at it on her own and finally giving up, primarily because she was tired of accumulating rejection letters, Pamela Yaye asked for help. She got an agent from Crichton and Associates who only needed six weeks to get her a book deal from Harlequin.

It was the opportunity Pamela had been praying for but she was still quite surprised when she got word of the book deal. The author has written over a dozen books since then and she’s shown no signs of slowing down.

Pamela Yaye has been commended for producing stories with engaging plots and spicy humor. And as with most romance novels, Pamela’s stories have just the right amount of sensual scenes.

The author’s books are filled with intractable alpha males and strong feisty women who are just looking for a tender and loving relationship.

Pamela is a Christian and she often speaks strongly about the role her faith has played in her life. Pamela has faced plenty of adversity in her life. She has found herself in situations where she didn’t think she had what it took to write her novels and meet her deadlines. She imputes her eventual success to God.

Pamela Yaye is always encouraging aspiring authors to realize the fact that writing is real work that takes time. She wants everyone with a burning desire to tell stories to realize that it is never too late for them to re-event themselves and achieve their publishing dreams. But they must be ready to put in the work to reap the benefits.

When Pamela isn’t writing, she is watching basketball. The author also loves to cook, not to mention traveling. Pamela and her family live in Canada.

+Seduced by the Playboy

Angela Kelly is a fiery newscaster that has set her sights on a sexy professional athlete. Angela is desperate. For all her ambition, the ratings of Angela’s show are so low that if she doesn’t do something drastic she could lose everything she has worked so hard for.

Unfortunately for Angela Kelly, Demetri Morretti doesn’t care about her expose. His only goal is to get her guard down and seduce her. When Angela’s life begins to unravel, Demetri is surprised when he finds that he is willing to do anything to prove to Angela that he isn’t just another playboy and that he is worthy of her trust.

‘Seduced by the Playboy’ is the first book in the Morretti Millionaires series. The book introduces to readers Demetri Morretti, the most sensitive of the Morretti brothers. Despite being a professional athlete, Demetri just wants privacy.

He has little patience for reporters, so he isn’t amused when Angela Kelly barges into his life.

Angela is the sort of woman that always gets what she wants. And Angela would rather talk about America’s serious issues. But she has no choice but to indulge in celebrity gossip for the sake of her show. When Angela and Demetri clash, neither of them realize just how explosive the reaction will be.

+Passion Overtime

Kyra Dixon has been assigned the task of bringing Terrance Franklin into Hollington’s ranks. But, with the homecoming festivities heating up, the hunky pro-football star is the last person Kyra wants to deal with, not with their intimate past still looming over her.

Kyra didn’t appreciate Terrance’s decision to sacrifice their engagement for the sake of his sporting dreams. And though she still finds him irresistible, Kyra has no intention of opening those old wounds.

Unfortunately for her, Terrance is finally ready to settle down and he is determined to make Kyra take him back.
