Parker J. Cole is a speaker, a radio host, and author with an obsession with the Lord Jesus Christ, anime, K-dramas, old movies, Star Trek, knitting, and speculative fiction. And she is an on and off marshmallows and Mountain Dew addict. She writes to fill the void that the sugar left behind.

Parker deals with writer’s block either by reading a good book or by working on another project. Sometimes distracting herself from her current work in progress helps her get her thoughts reorganized. Reading another book only feeds the monster inside herself.

She is always working on something, and wishes that she had a clone which would allow her to write that much faster.

“Many Strange Women” is the first novel in the “Sins of the Flesh” series and was released in 2014. Solomon Greene made this deal with God. If He would send him some unattractive woman, he would marry her then and there and do what was spiritually right. After all, that was the sort of wife he needed to help him escape his sordid past.

Celeste Martin made this deal with Solomon. She would be his ugly wife. All that she wanted in return was his name. She was in love with her sister’s fiance and he’d be the one and only guy she would ever love.

Solomon had no idea that he would find this woman he married so fascinating. Celeste did not know that just one taste from her husband’s lips would leave her wanting more. “The Other Man” is the second novel in the “Sins of the Flesh” series and was released in 2014. Leah Westwood loves Jacob, her husband, with all of her heart, even while the smoldering glances from her former flame, named Vincent Miller, continue affecting her. What she used to share with Vincent is threatening to shatter the bonds she is trying to build with her new husband.

Jacob’s heart belongs to Leah, however his body is refusing to accept that. Rachel is the one that has been his mainstay at the toughest of times in his life. How could he possibly leave her alone?

Vincent wants Leah back and all he must do is to watch and wait while Leah and Jacob’s relationship falls apart. Ultimately, Leah has to make a decision, between fidelity and fantasy.

“Dark Cherub” is a stand alone novel and was released in 2012. Shadows are lurking in the darkness, and preying on hundreds of women. Women that have one hidden thing in common with each other. One young woman witnesses her high school principal’s unsettling disappearance and pretty soon is faced with a rather harrowing choice.

Two friends find themselves facing off against a power which threatens not just their lives, yet also the lives of thousands more. One fights shadows of her own from her past choice. The other is gets followed by some lurking foe that nearly killed her five years prior. She starts connecting a sequence of events and one frightening realization is brought to light: they each face a power which can’t be fought with weapons or guns of any kind. Can they find the necessary strength and answers they need, in order to cast away the grip of this hostile presence looking to see them dead?

“The Cure” is a stand alone novel and was released in 2017. Savannah Woods makes a vow to never again have anything at all to do with Micah Reddington after he went and ruined her best friend’s career. But her niece gets injured in a serious accident, and the one guy that she cannot trust is the same one that she needs. Micah is barely able to contain his satisfaction once he sees the message Savannah sent him pleading for him to come and be by her side.

Her disloyalty almost cost him his career and Micah will never forgive her for leaving him at the lowest point in his life. Despite all of her efforts to stay aloof, she continues to see these glimpses of that Micah she formerly loved behind his cool exterior.

Micah fights this ongoing battle not to succumb to the sweetness of the woman that he used to care for beyond all else. However Micah and Savannah’s hearts are still sick with the pangs of betrayal. What is the cure, if there even is one?

“Time to Say Goodbye” is a stand alone novel and was released in 2017. Gargi Kapoor is the only person convinced that Dev, her brother, is innocent of the crime that he got convicted of. He gets sent to the hospital with this unexplained paralyzing disease she finds herself needing to lean on the very last person she had ever wanted to depend on, and it is the man that wants her brother to pay for stealing his mom’s life savings.

Leon Reckley is incredibly satisfied to have found the guy that ripped off his mom and that now suffers from this unknown disease, which leaves him paralyzed and needing rehabilitation therapeutic services. He is made that much happier when he gets the chance to be the therapist who makes him fit enough to go back to prison to serve out the rest of his sentence. Nobody’s going to work harder to make sure Dev Kapoor serves every last minute of his sentence.

Gargi never dreamed that the guy that has utter contempt for her brother would also be the guy she slowly starts to trust. Leon never believed that he would be convinced Dev could be innocent, let alone be drawn to his sworn enemy’s younger sister. Together, are they going to learn the truth? Or when Leon’s work is done, is it just going to be time to bid each other adieu?

This one goes beyond the simple romance and into issues of family relationships, forgiveness, trust, cultural differences, and a clear Christian point of view.
