Rushford is an author and speaker that is known around the world. She has written many books as well as plenty of articles. She has also made a name for herself in the genre of Christian youth fiction and has sold somewhere around over a quarter million of her youth series with the publication of her Jennie McGrady series. The series has found a real home base among readers of all ages.

She is a registered nurse and received her Master’s degree in Counseling. Rushford first became an author in print with the 1983 publication of her book Caring for your Sick Child. It was a nonfiction book designed to help provide parents with guidelines when it comes to taking care of ill children.

Rushford made her foray into the fiction world with the 1993 debut of her fiction book Too Many Secrets. It was the first in the Jennie McGrady book series. There are fifteen books in the series in total. She also wrote fiction for adults, starting with writing the Helen Bradley Mysteries. There are five books in the series, ending with Death on Arrival.

She is the author of the Healing for Broken Children series which includes two books. Patricia H. Rushford also wrote the Angel Delany Mystery series, with three books making up the series. She kept going with the three books in the Max & Me Mystery series and contributed to the Artisan series. She has also contributed to the Portraits series with the novel Morningsong.

Rushford also wrote the standalone novel Sins of the Mother, which was released in 2003. She has also penned several books in the Stories From Hope Haven series. Her nonfiction books span several titles and subjects, with everything from hugging your teenager to money management to coping with aging parents, what children need in a mom, the seasons and emotional phases of a woman’s life, and Humpty Dumpty Syndrome.

Patricia lives with her husband Ron. They have been married for 37 years and currently live in Vancouver Washington.

Too Many Secrets is the first book in the Jennie McGrady Mystery series. The main character in this series is Jennie McGrady, as newcomers and readers of the series might have guessed. Jeannie has a rich life and she has things that she likes to do. These include reading mystery books, driving a Mustang around town that may or may not belong to her mother, and of course, spend all of her time daydreaming about Ryan Johnson.

It seems like Jennie is set up to have the best summer ever until life intervenes. All of a sudden the perfect summer is starting to become a nightmare. Her grandmother actually goes missing, and she takes something with her– just about a million dollars’ worth of diamonds. And the diamonds happen to be stolen.

Jeannie has no idea what’s going on, but she knows she’s got to do something. It seems really strange that her grandmother would just take up and go like that. Maybe Ryan Johnson can help her. She has a huge crush on him, but he also lives right next door to her grandmother about 150 miles from her. He’s good looking and she really likes him, and she enlists his help when it comes to tracking down her grandmother because who else is she going to team up with?

Jennie also looks for more outside help. Jennie knows that Helen McGrady has a job as a writer for many travel magazines. Helen travels all around the world to get firsthand stories for her job. But Jennie also knows that she has ultra-secret connections to the FBI as well, and she wants to use those to help track down her grandmother and the diamonds.

There has to be more to this that Jennie doesn’t understand. With Ryan helping her out, they have a big task ahead of them. Lots of danger and twists at every turn await the two in this exciting and adventurous debut series novel from Patricia H. Rushford. Will they be able to track down her grandmother and find out what happened with the diamonds, or will trouble catch up to the unlikely duo first? Find out by picking up your own copy of Too Many Secrets!

Silent Witness is the second book in the Jennie McGrady Mystery series. Jennie McGrady is back in another fun book from Patricia H. Rushford. It’s vacation time again, and she’s been looking forward to going to Florida. Jennie wants nothing more than to go on vacation and get no that plane to go all the way to the sunshine state to a dolphin research lab. However, her flight is delayed when a bomb threat causes the flight schedule to go into chaos.

Initially dismayed at the change, Jennie finds a silver lining when this occurrence causes her to meet a girl. Sarah needs Jennie’s help to solve a murder that is over two years old. Jennie doesn’t know exactly what to make of this at first, but she knows that something is wrong. Maybe this is a real case, and if that’s true, then this could be exactly the type of trouble that she wasn’t looking for.

Sarah is someone who has lived in silence ever since her father passed away. She’s been able to shove down details for some time, but now certain things about the night of his murder are starting to come back to her. This wouldn’t be a problem except for she is sure the person who did this is still out there. They are not going to be happy if they know she could be a witness.

Jennie goes on to Florida and there she meets Scott. Scott is a hot-headed and young environmentalist that seems interested in the case. Jennie has no reason to doubt his innocent enthusiasm. However, as time goes on, she starts to suspect his interest is anything but coincidental. Could Sarah’s father’s killer still be out there? Pick up Silent Witness to find out!
