Paul Tobin is a published author known for comic books and his graphic novels.

Paul Tobin is known for his work doing the Bandette series, where he collaborated with Colleen Coover. The graphic novel won the Eisner Award for 2013, 2016, as well as 2017. It became a finalist in 2016 for the Oregon Book Award in the category of graphic literature.

Tobin would also have his work nominated in between that. In 2015, his graphic novel was up for an Eisner Award. He has also written books for middle grade level students. This includes a five book series called The Genius Factor that came out in 2016. The author followed that up with a 2017 book about how to outsmart robot bees and tame what else other than a human tornado.

Paul Tobin is the creator and the author of the Bandette series. Released by Dark Horse Books, this graphic novel series started in 2013. This is when the first volume of this series came out. The second volume followed soon after. It is illustrated by Colleen Coover and Steve Lieber, Kim, Meyer, and more. There are 3 volumes in the series.

The first book in the Bandette series is titled Presto! If you have ever wanted to check out something that is truly zany, then check out the debut in this colorful and interesting story from two artists in the visual and the world of composition!

When it comes to the character of Bandette, what else is there to say? She has something that simply no one else does. She has the power of being a beautiful woman, and uses her alluring nature to her advantage at all times. She is also mysterious, as she takes care to never let someone get the upper hand on her and always leaves others with a little hint of wondering who she really is.

This gorgeous woman is enigmatic enough to make you wonder what she is all about. But after all, that’s a simple question to answer. She is the woman known as Bandette, and she also happens to be one of the greatest thieves in the entire world.

If you asked Bandette, she might even tell you that she is the best thief in the whole entire world. That is a pretty big deal, especially if you consider the fact that this rookie cat burglar is only a teenage girl. That happens to wear a costume when she steals and has the thief handle of Bandette.

She loves to employ her vast array of skills whenever possible and get the job done. She isn’t known to be the greatest thief in the world at the moment for no good reason. Still, there is always a need to show them what it is all about and to keep her name relevant by doing a score every now and again.

She is more than happy to put her skills up against whatever the law enforcement teams decide that they have to offer. She’s always been able to get away with it before, but when it comes to all of the things that she’s juggling, is she going to be able to continue her career without getting caught?

Bandette must rely on her sources to stay sharp and in the game. She has a team of urchins on the street that are deployed constantly and are always bringing her back information. It is like they can be nearly everywhere at once. The sharpness of her game and the fact that she is constantly stealing expensive things is what makes her such a living migraine to the officials that work the law jurisdiction in her area.

All that they want to do is to track her down and to catch her. All that she wants to do is keep living the high life and steal whenever she wants and not get caught. But every dog has its day, even if they are a cat burglar. Is it only a matter of time before she gets capture if she keeps trying her luck?

The Police Inspector as well as the criminals in the underworld are finding that this thief is starting to be a major thorn in all of their sides. When it comes to all of the things that people are able to keep up indefinitely, high level theft may not be one of them.

She has a gift, but is Bandette eventually going to get in way too far over her head to get out? She’s doing what she can and taking some masterpieces along the way. But when a thief makes a shocking discovery, it’s anyone’s guess if she is going to survive a plan to take out her life? Pick up a copy of this book to find out!

Stealers Keepers is the second novel in the engaging Bandette series. Check out this graphic novel for yourself to find out more.

Bandette is a teen thief, and she’s really good at what she does. When it comes to theft, when it is accomplished well then it is not just crime. It’s technically a crime and it is also art. That’s what she thinks, anyway, and she’s not alone.

There’s a whole world of thieves out there that are constantly lifting work and doing what they can to make money. It doesn’t matter whether it’s illegal or not. Of course, some thieves steal because they love the thrill of it, not because they particularly care about what they are going to get out of it.

She’s always had a special level of skill when it comes to burglary and other styles of theft, so why not put it to good use? She’s going to do what she can and is throwing down a gauntlet when it comes to the ‘Grand Thieving Race’.

Now Monsieur, a rival, has come in and wants to take her up on that challenge. The two of them are in a competition to see who can steal the most artifacts from FINIS, a criminal organization. Whatever they learn of its plans, they’re going to turn over to the Inspector. Can this thief survive it all? Read to find out!
