Penn Cassidy is an American author of new adult fiction, reverse harem, and dark romance fiction. She is the author of the Noc City series, the Hell’s Apocalypse, and the Carnival of Bones Duet.

Cassidy is a full-time author who lives in California with her husband and their cars who she often holds conversations with. When she is not writing, she enjoys horror movies, Halloween, cats, myths and legends. She spends a lot of time on TikTok and prefers to be indoors. Penn also likes taking naps and getting Taco Bell drive-thru.

Throne of Crimson sees a woman introduced to a new reality of blood, iron, and chains as well as death, desperation, and grief. She woke up in a strange place with her only memory being a set of red glowing eyes in the shadows. Those eyes sent a very clear message to her that she was never going home again. She fought her way out of a prison only to end up bound by three creatures who claim that she belongs to them. Now, she’s just a broken woman who has never truly felt a love touch. Her only goal now is to get out of this nightmare, but that doesn’t seem possible as the world that she once knew no longer exists. She only has one choice left and that choice is going to be bloody.

Diabolic is the first book in The Dearly Departed series. The story follows a woman who has been a slave to the cartel since she was five-years-old when she was taken from her mother. After that she was trafficked and spent time in drug dens and seedy clubs. All she knows is violence and destruction is now what she craves.

For the past ten years she has belonged to a dangerous man who sees her as the child he wished he had. She has found a place among the killers because she is as beautiful as she is deadly. She’s climbed up the ranks in the bizarre, violent family and now has her eyes on the thrones. There are those who don’t approve of her goals and are watching her closely, but what they don’t know is that she is already five steps ahead of them.

Damned is book one in the Legion of the Damned series. This book is a rewrite of a previously published book that Penn wrote. The book was called Morning Star and it was written under the alias of K.M. Raya. The story sees four celestial warriors coming for a woman as they believe she is some kind of monster. She is paying for the sins of others and each day in the darkness makes her hate for them grow stronger. She can’t trust pretty faces or sly smiles nor can she accept their apologies. What she can do is grow stronger and try to earn their trust so that when the time comes she can burn them all.

Carnival of Bones begins with a song that beckons her. It calls her to a place in the Louisiana Bayou where things creep in the shadows. Two men, if they even are men, tell her that she can never leave this place. Everything about this place scares her, but it also thrills her at the same time. So much so that she almost forgets about the blood on her skin. Almost. Her name is Moria Laveau and she believes that she’s done something very, very wrong.

Feral Skies is the first book in the Hell’s Apocalypse series. It is easy to learn about people when things go wrong. You can learn who to trust, who to rely on, and who you need to watch out for. For the heroine of this novel, she learned not to get too close to others because you’ll probably hae to kill them at some point. Her friends and her are traveling North and on the way they have been looting the ruins and avoiding the undead. It has been hell on the road, including when they got trapped in a burning warehouse full of walking corpses. They were rescued by a group of hotties which seems too good to be true at the time, but now she is struggling to trust them. Her heart and her body want her to, but she just can’t. However, they do need help getting North and they seem like they could be fun to go along with.

The Hell’s Apocalypse series continues with Dead Tides. She found her family in the new world and now she’s somehow managed to collect a few more family members. She thought that she could put the trauma in the past after killing the Trappers and escaping Mac, but now she is starting to think that she spoke too soon. Her father’s base has just received a distress call from a settlement in California that needs their help. The guys think that someone else should handle this one after all she’s been through this year, but once a Marine, always a Marine.

Noc City is the first book in the series of the same name. They call her the Angel of Noc City and for good reason. As her father spreads his propaganda, the cameras see what they want. Everyone here believes the darklings are dangerous and unholy, a threat to humans that need to be destroyed. There has been peace for decades, but they need to die. What’s going to happen when the Angel of Noc City finds out she’s one of them? She thought death was the only way out, but she was wrong. The way out of hell might just rest in the hands of these dangerous creatures.

Blood Moon is the second book in the Noc City trilogy. She’s seen a world of secrets and evil that she never knew existed, but now it’s time for her to choose a side.
