Peter O’Mahoney is a best selling novelist from the United States, who is famous for writing suspense, thriller, and mystery stories. He is particularly popular for being the author of Tom Whiskey and Bill Harvey novel series. Peter is a huge fan of the Perry Mason stories and has taken lots of inspiration from them. He has been highly influenced by the intrigue, pace, and style of the Perry Mason books. All these factors enabled him to write a thriller book series of his own.

Peter has a psychology major that helps him to delve into the characters’ thoughts for finding the motivation behind each of their actions. Very often, he likes to blur the line between the good & evil. This is one of the factors in Peter’s stories that has been liked by numerous readers all across the globe. In addition to using his original name for writing thrilling stories, Peter uses the nom de plume of Peter Patrick for writing children’s books. The Bill Harvey series written by author Peter O’Mahoney is comprised of five books in total released between 2017 and 2018. All the books of this series consist of the chief protagonist in the role of Bill Harvey. Peter has described Bill Harvey as an attorney based in Los Angeles. The books feature numerous other important characters besides Bill Harvey, including Anna Lempare, Andrew Hardgrave, Carlos Lopez, Jonathan Harvey, Kevin Wu, Brandon Kane, etc. The debut book of this series is entitled ‘Will of Justice’. It was released by the Roam Free Publishing in 2017. This book introduces the character of Bill Harvey as a Los Angeles based attorney and also features Anna Lempare. The thrilling story revolves around a family dispute in relation to a will. The case becomes much more thrilling with the death of the trustee. Anna is described as a fierce redhead lady. She disagrees with the conditions mentioned in the will prepared by her grandfather related to the division of his vast estate among the members of Anna’s family. So, she decides to challenge the will. But, everyone is taken for a shock when the strangled dead body of the trustee is discovered from her apartment. The case takes an unexpected turn and leaves everyone in a great shock. All the fingers point towards Anna as the prime suspect because everyone knew how fierce she was with her words against the trustee.

Anna pleads that she is innocent but no one seems to trust her. When nothing appears to be working in her favor, Anna decides to take the help of Bill Harvey, who has just begun his career as a criminal defense attorney. After studying the various aspects of this civil/criminal case Bill arrives at the conclusion that Anna is not guilty. He becomes determined to prove her innocence and also help the authorities catch the real culprit. Bill Harvey has the habit of detecting lies as he is a former hypnotherapist. He studies each and every angle of the case and makes a list of probable suspects who would benefit from the death of the trustee. Bill zeroes down his suspicion on 3 people, including a charity CEO, a neighbor having secrets of his own, and a war veteran. However, he struggles to find any solid proof against any of these suspects. Bill Harvey desperately tries everything in his hand to find the necessary evidence that will help him prove the innocence of his client. After a short while, Bill comes across some secrets that end up changing the lives of his client as well as his own forever. After taking the readers for a ride through thrilling courtroom drama, the suspenseful story ends with an intriguing twist that none of the readers see coming.

Another great novel written in this series by Peter is called ‘Redeeming Justice’. It was also published by Roam Free publication in 2017. The central characters mentioned in this particular novel include Andrew Hardgrave, Bill Harvey, and Carlos Lopez. The book starts by showing Andrew Hardgrave as a judge based in California. The judicial system receives a huge setback when Judge Hardgrave’s murdered body is discovered from his home in Los Angeles. Hardgrave was killed with a single gunshot and police authorities arrest Carlos Lopez as the prime suspect in the Hardgrave killing. Carlos is known to have been involved in criminal activities in the past. He is also said to have been involved in drug smuggling. Currently, Carlos Lopez is in the judicial custody and is fighting games the multiple drug charges laid on him. When he learns that he has been charged with Hardgrave Murder, Carlos Lopez plead not guilty. He claims that he has left the criminal world for good and has nothing to do with the Killing of Andrew Hardgrave. And when no other attorney agrees to defend him in court, he requests Bill Harvey to fight his case.

While investigating the case, bill uncovers some important secrets from Carlos Lopez past life, which make him believe that his involvement in the world of organized crime run very deep. As bill Harvey continues to investigate, he comes across numerous leads that take him on paths filled with danger. His integration with the close friends of Andrew Hardgrave provides him with many probable suspects. Soon after, Bill Harvey realizes that there is a lot more in the case than what he had imagined. The deeper he digs into the investigation, the more threatening and mysterious this murder case becomes. In his desperation to put an end to the mystery as to who the real murderer is Bill Harvey makes his final move. He does not fear if his own life is put on the line as far as the main culprit is found and justice is served. The discoveries that bill comes across put the lives of all those he loves in great danger. But, that does not stop him from going for the risky move and solve the thrilling crime once and for all. This novel was highly appreciated for its exciting story, colorful characters, and intriguing mystery. The readers from different parts of the world loved the book very much and also praised it with their honest reviews.
