“The Stationmaster’s Cottage came from the real life cottage close by, a childhood spent in coastal towns, and the poignant reunion with her sister after spending a lifetime apart. It was registered initially as a screenplay in the year 2005 with WGA and conceived in the year 2002.
“The Stationmaster’s Cottage” is the first novel in the “River’s End” series and was released in 2017. A love lost yet not forgotten.
Close to the rugged Australian coastline beaten by the winds of the wild Great Southern Ocean sits this forgotten stationmaster’s cottage that holds secrets about a tragic love story. Secrets that Christie Ryan doesn’t know anything about when she unexpectedly inherits her estranged grandma’s cottage in the tiny seaside town of River’s End.
While there, Christie finds these love letters which have remained unopened for almost fifty years now. The letters tell about a great-aunt that she never even knew existed and a love that’s so powerful that Christie becomes determined to unearth what kept this young couple apart.
Her journey leads her right to the door of Martin, a reclusive local artist, and who Christie is convinced holds the key to all the questions that she seeks to have answered. However Martin’s wary of this newcomer and has got important reasons to keep Christie at arm’s length.
Christie, while the search continues, realizes that uncovering the past of her family might help her learn the truth of who she actually is. And before the decades old mystery can be solved, Christie will be forced to decide what it really means to love somebody.
This novel will sweep you back into the past and back with this love story sure to fill your heart and a mystery to thrill your mind.
“The Christmas Tree Thief” is the first novel in the “Charlotte Dean Mystery” series and was released in 2019. She is looking forward to having a peaceful Christmas, however this small town is anything but quiet.
Psychiatrist Charlotte Dean has had enough trouble to last her a lifetime at this point. The chance to work in a bookshop in the picturesque town of Kingfisher Falls is the rare opportunity to begin again where nobody knows about her past. The very last thing that Charlotte expects to see is somebody stealing Christmas trees, however she is determined not to get involved. Particularly when a few of the locals, including the town’s police officer, are suspicious of a newcomer like Charlotte.
Trouble has a way of finding her, unfortunately. When the bookshop becomes a target, she is forced to rethink this hands-off policy of hers, even if it meant putting herself in danger. Charlotte, in order to find this culprit, will learn what it truly means to live in a small town and that the prospect of becoming a local might not be all that bad. So long as it involves a spot of sleuthing on the side, obviously.
Set among Victoria’s gorgeous Macedon Rangers and features a quirky cast of characters with a dash of danger, here is a small town mystery with a unique Australian twist.
“Till Daph Do Us Part” is the first novel in the “Daphne Jones Mysteries” series and was released in 2021. Daphne had this peculiar feeling in her stomach right from the moment she arrived at the Brooker residence, and it was not from the hurried lunch she had.
Daphne Jones adores the new career she has as a traveling celebrant, traveling from one small town to the next each week to marry happy couples or help out with sad goodbyes. However it’s not supposed to be both at the same time!
A member of a bridal party winds up face down in a swimming pool, and Daphne embraces her inner sleuth, believing that there’s no way this death was an accident.
Amid resentful relatives, old family feuds, and some missing money, there are plenty of suspects, and one of them really appreciates Daphne snooping into their business. One wants her reputation ruined, one wants her out of town. But with a way with words and a heart of gold, this celebrant sleuth isn’t giving up. Unless the killer can find her first.
“The Heart Match” is the first novel in the “Maple Gardens Matchmakers” series and was released in 2022. One long lost jade necklace and one chance to find it, with two hearts at risk.
Izzie Davis may be broke but she’ll never accept charity. Which is quite a problem, since the cute guy that she met while visiting Maple Gardens Assisted Living could really solve every single one of her financial issues with a click of fingers. Keeping her mother’s fees up to date takes just about all her meager income but she has seen what money does to some people and won’t ever seek wealth out.
Bart Brown inherited more money than he possibly knows what to do with, however the only person that he’d love to spend it on just happens to be this spitfire who sticks to her principles. Only way she will date him is if he promises to never spend money on her. His generous heart does not quite comprehend it however she’s worth the compromise.
The family heirloom that Izzie has been desperate to buy back for her mother goes up for auction, Bart wants to change all the rules to help her. However are her principles going to mean more to her than love? Because there is suddenly more at stake than just a necklace.
